Incidental 92[1] is an elderly fish that debuts in "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy." He is likely classified as an "elderly" type incidental.



He is light green fish with orange liver spots, mint green fins, dark green lips, and has a few hair strands on top of his head. He wears a pair of eyeglasses and a purple speedo with orange polka-dots on them. In his older appearances, he wore a white speedo.

Role in series

Incidental 92 struggling to read a book.

Incidental 92 is a somewhat commonly used incidental character in the series being a bit more commonly used than most elderly incidentals who are all normally portrayed to be residents at Shady Shoals Rest Home. He is normally portrayed as an elderly fish but has also been portrayed as a younger middle aged fish in a few of his appearances as well.

"Squirrel Jokes"

He is seen at the nightly event called the Komedy Krab where he was heard saying "That's true." twice after hearing SpongeBob's jokes.

"Squid on Strike"

When Squidward tells the Bikini Bottomites that they have been cheated on and lied to he is slapped by Incidental 93.

"SpongeGuard on Duty"

He and Incidental 82 ask Larry the Lobster where the snack bar is located in Goo Lagoon, but Larry tells them both to leave due to being too old even though they were said to be the ones who raised him in that episode.

"Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy IV"

He is one of the surfer fish that SpongeBob shrinks with Mermaid Man's belt, along with Scooter and Sandals.

"One Krabs Trash"

He is the first customer to come up at Mr. Krabs' yard sale. He buys an old umbrella. He is convinced by Mr. Krabs if this umbrella used to belong to the queen of Switzerland. He then replies that Switzerland has no queen. However, he buys the umbrella anyway.

"The Sponge Who Could Fly"

He is first seen concerned with Incidental 41 about the lighthouse going out and then cheers when SpongeBob fixes it. He later appears when SpongeBob rubs his scalp for him. SpongeBob then tells him that he doesn't even know who he is and Incidental 92 tells SpongeBob that they went to elementary school together. SpongeBob then calls him "Dennis" and continues to rub his scalp.

"Krabs vs. Plankton"

He says "uh oh" when he sees Plankton pretending to be injured after slipping on the wet floor. He is also part of the jury.

"Hocus Pocus"

He is seen exiting the bus before Squidward enters it.

"Born to Be Wild"

He is shown to be part of a motorcycle group originally thought to be The Wild Ones, but were revealed to be the Mild Ones. He was also seen as a leaf blower operator at Jellyfish Fields, blowing the shredded pieces of SpongeBob and Patrick into piles.

"Best Day Ever"

He was seen murmuring when SpongeBob refused the show to end.

"Goo Goo Gas"

He farts when Mr. Krabs tells Plankton that he can't tolerate his stinky gas. Incidental 93 then tells him "That makes two of us." and Incidental 92 says he didn't do it on purpose. He also appears as one of the elders whacking Plankton while he is trapped in a net.

"The Inmates of Summer"

He appears as a prisoner at Inferno Island.

"Slide Whistle Stooges"

Squidward angers him at the Barg'N-Mart by teasing him with his slide whistle. He later is seen complaining when Squidward rises himself with a slide whistle and goes down a manhole.

"The Krabby Kronicle"

He and Incidental 47 are shown to be part of Neptunian Science Committee and confiscate Sandy's science awards.

"SpongeBob SquarePants vs. The Big One"

He appears as the operator of the air traffic control tower of Sandy's island.


He roller skates over SpongeBob which causes him to lose his eyes, arms, and legs.

"Chum Bucket Supreme"

He is seen setting up a "Fum Is Chum" billboard with another unnamed billboard worker.

"Stuck in the Wringer"

He is seen stealing Mr. Krabs' money after SpongeBob trips on the cash register.

"Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful"

He comes out of his house and yells out "Trash day!?" after Incidental 82 mistakes Squidward as a garbage man. He then dumps his trash into Squidward's wagon.

"SpongeBob's Last Stand"

He is one of the elders featured in the Shelly Superhighway parade.

"Gary in Love"

Gary the Snail watches him walk his two snails together.

"The Great Patty Caper"

He is seen at the Rest Home playing cards with Incidental 81 while the train was nearly about to crash into them.

"Karate Star"

He is seen working at the Barg'N-Mart as a store clerk until Patrick destroys the entire store. He then tells Patrick that he was hugging a package of cleaning sponges when he mistakes the package for SpongeBob. He then shows that SpongeBob is really badly crushed under a pile of rubble from the Barg'N-Mart.

"Krusty Dogs"

He, Incidental 31, and Incidental 47 become unamused by SpongeBob trying to convince the customers to stop eating Krusty Dogs while dressed as an old timely gentleman. They later notice Incidental 41's Krusty Dog about to explode and it explodes all over the three of them.

"The Wreck of the Mauna Loa"

He pays Squidward for tickets to go on The Wreck of the Mauna Loa amusement park ride.

"Glove World R.I.P."

He is one of the fish that falls off of a Glove World! roller coaster and lands onto a glove pole until it collapses.

"For Here or to Go"

He attempts to estimate how many seeds are in the jar for the first annual bun seed counting contest. His guess was "Mermaid Man."

"The Good Krabby Name"

He is part of the 2% of the Bikini Bottom population that has never eaten at the Krusty Krab.

"Move It or Lose It"

He turns his head around 180 degrees when he hears Plankton yell out "Free Money!"

"Hello Bikini Bottom!"

He is seen at the supermarket with Incidental 87 moving their carts to the tune of SpongeBob and Squidward's performance.

"Bumper to Bumper"

He glares at SpongeBob and Mrs. Puff while driving his boatmobile due to their reckless driving when he passes by the Highway Speed Patrol.


He appears as a prisoner at the Bikini Bottom Jail where the guard and Incidental 107 have him and other prisoners move over to the A-level! He later appears as one of the prisoners that help Plankton steal the Krabby Patty secret formula at the Krusty Krab.

"Pull Up a Barrel"

Squidward mentions that he has nursing a fry for the last hour and he helps him chew it due to his shift not officially being over until he is out of the Krusty Krab.

"Mall Girl Pearl"

He is seen at the Bikini Bottom Mall with Incidental 87 and Incidental 93.

"Call the Cops"

He is one of the elderly fish in the Bikini Bottom Police Department evidence room.

"The Nitwitting"

He is seen as a Empty Head Society member handling the lemonade cart.


He is one of the fish that the Chum Bucket glove squeezes out of the bus.

He is seen at the Krusty Krab with Incidental 93 struggling to eat a Krabby Patty.
