Incidental 71[1] is a background character who appears throughout the first two seasons.


He is olive green with white eyes and black pupils, and dark olive green lips. He has two stripes on his head and more on his stomach, he also has thin indentations on his belly.

In one scene of "Fools in April," he wears a purple collared shirt with darker purple pants and he appears brighter than usual.

In "Walking Small," he wears purple swimming trunks.

Role in series


He makes a cameo in the crowd at the Krusty Krab.

"Fools in April"

When SpongeBob leaves the Krusty Krab crying due to the rude prank Squidward pulled, he looks at Squidward in disgust. While the other fish storm out of the restaurant, he turns to Squidward and says "April fools, jerk."

"Walking Small"

He is one of the Goo Lagoon beachgoers. He is first seen sunbathing with Vera Fishbowl. At the end, he appears in the wide shot near Paco at the volleyball net.

"Neptune's Spatula"

He is seen in the crowd at the Poseidome Colosseum. He is only shown from the back.

"Christmas Who?"

In the original storyboard, he appears with the other Bikini Bottomites singing "Santa's coming tonight, tonight!" and waits in front of Squidward's house for a Christmas present. He was not included in the final version of the episode.

"Patty Hype"

He is one of the customers who crowd around Mr. Krabs after he takes over the Pretty Patty stand. He is behind Peterson Nat Tucker
