— Incidental 37A, "As Seen on TV"

Incidental 37A[1], also known as Incidental BM37[2] is a background character usually seen hanging out at Goo Lagoon with Incidental 46. He first appears in the episode "Ripped Pants." He is classified as a "hotdog" type incidental.
Description
He is a grayish-brown fish with black eyes and gray lips. He usually wears light green shorts with a dark green flower design, which are similar to Patrick's. In his older apperences, he had a purple dollop of sunscreen on his nose.
In "What's Eating Patrick?," his child design appears with a unique color scheme. He is light orange with pale red lips and a pale red dorsal fin. He wears blue shorts with a light pinkish purple flower design on them and a cast and crutches on his right foot, as he has a broken foot.
Role in series
"Ripped Pants"
He is first seen when Larry the Lobster uses his volleyball to knock over him and two other fish.
"Patty Hype"
Alongside the angry mob, his face turns purple, and says: "Your dumb Pretty Patties turned my face purple!"
"As Seen on TV"
His most well-known appearance is in this episode where SpongeBob sings "The Striped Sweater Song" about his sweater, much to his dismay.
"Pranks a Lot"
He is a surfer as seen in this episode, where he is scared off by SpongeBob and Patrick invisibly acting as ghosts.
"Ditchin'"
He appears as the leader of SpongeBob's fans during a badminton game against Sandy and Incidental 108.
"What's Eating Patrick?"
Incidental 37A's child design appears as a supporting character with a speech impediment. He meets Patrick while he is training for the eating competition. He tells Patrick that he hurt his foot on the playground. He and his father watch the competition, and he tells Patrick that he believes in him to finish the Krabby Patty-eating contest. Patrick takes his advice and continues to eat. Patrick then wins the contest due to the boy's advice. Later in the episode, he breaks his other foot when the eating contest belt hits him.
"SpongeBob's Place"
He arrives at SpongeBob's house when he smells the Krabby Patties SpongeBob made.
"Krabby Patty Creature Feature"
He briefly appears at the Krusty Krab.
"Krusty Koncessionaires"
He is seen at the Low Tides concert being carried by the audience along with Incidental 84.
