Incidental 37A[1] is a background character usually seen hanging out at Goo Lagoon with Incidental 46. He first appears in the episode "Ripped Pants."
Description
He is a grayish-brown fish with black eyes and gray lips. He usually wears light green shorts with a dark green flower design, which are similar to Patrick's.
Role in series
"Ripped Pants"
He is first seen when Larry the Lobster uses his volleyball to knock over him and two other fish. His girlfriend was Incidental 46.
"Patty Hype"
Alongside the angry mob, his face turns purple, and says: "Your dumb Pretty Patties turned my face purple!"
"Pranks a Lot"
He is a surfer as seen in this episode, where he is scared off by SpongeBob and Patrick invisibly acting as ghosts.
"As Seen on TV"
His most well-known appearance is in this episode where SpongeBob sings "The Striped Sweater Song" about his sweater, much to his dismay.
