Incidental 24 is one of the show's background characters. He is a muscular goldfish, usually seen hanging out at Goo Lagoon, where he first appears in the episode "Ripped Pants."


He is very muscular. He is a bronze-brown colored fish with dark salmon colored lips. In later episodes, his dorsal fin is also dark salmon, while in earlier seasons, his dorsal fin is the bronze-brown as his body. He is orange in "Welcome to the Bikini Bottom Triangle." A blue version of Incidental 24 can be seen in the level "Krusty Krab Alley" in the game Super Brawl 3.

Role in series

"Prehibernation Week"

When Sandy is getting Bikini Bottom citizens to try and help her find SpongeBob, she splits them into teams. Incidental 24 then yells out, "Gold Team Rules!"

"The Fry Cook Games"

He is scared and eager to get out of the arena, showing that he has a wimpy side and weak constitution.

"Slide Whistle Stooges"

He was having a heart-to-heart with his girlfriend or wife until Squidward wolf-whistled with a slide whistle. This resulted in him getting angry and punching a passerby.

  • In "Slide Whistle Stooges," Incidental 7 appears as his girlfriend.
  • His voice changes in multiple episodes. In "Prehibernation Week" and "The Fry Cook Games," he has a small, wimpy voice. However, in "Slide Whistle Stooges," he has a big fierce voice.
  • In "The Krabby Kronicle," there is a gym trainer who looks like Incidental 24.
