Incidental 188[1] is an incidental character who first appears in the episode "High Sea Diving."
Description[]
Incidental 188's original story design from "High Sea Diving."
He is a yellow surfer fish with a pale yellow underside and dark green lips. He has an orange dorsal fin and goatee and he wears purple shorts with blue flowers on them. In his original storyboard design, he had long hair instead of a dorsal fin and had a wider body structure. He also had much less detail on his face.

Incidental 188 has made very few appearances throughout the series so far. He was firstly designed to be a minor character in "High Sea Diving," where he was first a businessman but later turns into a surfer. His surfer appearance became his normal variant.

He appears in Bikini Bottom as a businessman until a large plastic knife falls down the ocean from the Great Pacific garbage patch. He mistakes the knife as a surfboard and rips his suit off, appearing as a surfer fish, and carries the knife away with him to go surfing.

Patrick tricks him into trying to impress Shubie by showing how fast his boat can go, after he hooked the fishing rod Rube was holding onto said boat, in hopes of him getting pulled away from Squidina. However, Rube manages to reel in the boat, including its passengers, and throws them back into the Goo Lagoon, right on top of Patrick.
