Character

Officer Johnson[1] is a police fish who makes several cameo appearances throughout the series, starting in the episode "Hall Monitor."

Description

He is a light teal-colored fish who wears a white shirt with a big gold badge on it, black shoes, a blue police cap, and blue pants.

Role in series

He is the Head Police of the K9 unit. He first appears in the episode "Hall Monitor," asking Patrick some questions. His last name was revealed in "Growth Spout" as "Johnson" by Officer Slugfish.

He appears in "I'm Your Biggest Fanatic" as a security guard who is constantly trying to keep Patrick from playing with the displays, and the final straw is when Patrick chases down Jeffrey the Jellyfish; he goes to confront Patrick.

He appears in "Bossy Boots," where he writes a ticket to Squidward for being naked in front of a couple after he stripped his uniform.

In "Life of Crime," he is with Slugfish at the police station when SpongeBob and Patrick confess that they stole a balloon. They arrest them, but only for a few seconds since it was National Free Balloon Day when they stole the balloon.

In "No Free Rides," he watches SpongeBob and Mrs. Puff fight in the police car with Officer Slugfish.

In "I'm Your Biggest Fanatic," he constantly tells Patrick not to touch displays in the Biannual Jellyfish Convention.

In "Sandy, SpongeBob, and the Worm," he is seen giving a boat a parking ticket for near a fire hydrant, but when a worm eats up the boat he moves the hydrant over to another boat and sticks a parking ticket on it.

In "Have You Seen This Snail?," he can be seen driving a bus despite being a policeman during the song "Gary Come Home."

In "All That Glitters," SpongeBob shows him and Officer Slugfish his broken spatula.

In "Once Bitten," he is shown to be one of the Bikini Bottomites that have Mad Snail Disease.

In "Wigstruck," he is shown to be walking with wig a on his head.

In "Rule of Dumb," he can be seen outside Squidward Tentacles' house where he was going to build a Ferris Wheel.

In "Professor Squidward," he is one of the arresting officers to arrest Squidward for impersonating Squilliam Fancyson.

In "The Clash of Triton," he joins the angry mob to chase down SpongeBob and Patrick for destroying the Bikini Bottom.

In "The Hot Shot," he and his partner chase after SpongeBob who was speeding.

In "Oral Report," he along with partner Officer Slugfish chase after SpongeBob who ran a red light and when they question him if he knows anything about boating safety SpongeBob goes through a long explanation of "boating safety." The police start crying and say it is beautiful. Mrs. Puff says that SpongeBob will have to go to jail and she will not have to teach him anymore. The police explain how she was the one who taught him and they take her to jail, much to her dismay.

In "Fiasco," he and other police officers chase after Plankton when he steals the artwork. Later, he comes to SpongeBob's house where Plankton and Squidward are arrested.

In "Snooze You Lose," he tells SpongeBob and Patrick (who are inside Squidward) that they are dancing in a no dancing zone.

In "The Getaway," he is sleeping when SpongeBob and Stickyfins Whiting speed pass them and Officer Nancy O'Malley accidentally spills coffee over his face. He and other members of the Bikini Bottom Police Department chase after. Later, when they land in Bikini Bottom Jail they all teller the viewers "Drive safely, and always wear your seat belt!"

In "Cave Dwelling Sponge," Officer Johnson is licked on the head by Spongy Spongy before he runs.

In "No Pictures Please," he checks Rube's camera only to find Plankton inside.

In "Krabby Patty Creature Feature," he gets dispatched to deal with an outbreak on rabid patties. Only to say that he is on his break and Three Krabby Patty zombies appear and start attacking Officer Rob's police car.

In "Grandmum's the Word," he appears in Lily Plankton' dream.

In "Ink Lemonade," he is seen in line waiting to get Black lemonade.

In "Stormy Weather," he is seen running from Drizzle's thunder.

In "Senior Discount," he is seen at the Krusty Krab.
