In A Fix is a book published by a Scholastic. In this book, Squidward lets SpongeBob and Patrick borrow his sink strainer. SpongeBob and Patrick then try jellyfishing with it, but it breaks. What will they do?
Synopsis The story starts with SpongeBob and Patrick in Squidward's house admiring his sink strainer that was partially broken. Squidward tells them they can borrow the strainer if they promise to leave afterwards. When trying to jellyfish with it, Patrick slipped and then tripped, missing the jellyfish and ripping the strainer. SpongeBob says he can fix the strainer with a hammer and they return it Squidward. Squidward is surprised, since he gave it to them broken. They claimed they could fix anything, and they end the story offering to fix up Squidward's house .
