Synopsis

A bunch of hungry nematodes arrive in Bikini Bottom early in the morning. After eating a variety of large items, they make their way to SpongeBob's pineapple house. They pull out straws and start drinking the juice inside the house. SpongeBob and Gary wake up and realize what's going on as everything starts to shrink. SpongeBob frantically calls Squidward on the phone, but by the time he and Patrick arrive it is too late: the pineapple house is gone, reduced to a tiny pebble. Now that the house is no longer there, SpongeBob decides that he will have to move back in with his parents. However, Patrick tells SpongeBob that he can just build a new house and he won't have to leave.

After attempting to build a replacement house, SpongeBob tests it out but it just falls apart. They try to sleep with Patrick, but Patrick won't share his rock, which the two are using as a blanket, and they get into a tug-of-war. When Patrick begins drooling in his sleep, SpongeBob absorbs the saliva and stuffs a giant cork inside Patrick's mouth to get him to stop. Patrick then has a nightmare that spiders are attacking him, and hits SpongeBob repeatedly with the rock, forcing him away.

SpongeBob gives up sleeping with Patrick and goes to sleep with Squidward. Squidward at first seems welcoming of SpongeBob (seeing as how he's half-asleep), but once the realization kicks in he angrily kicks Gary and SpongeBob out of his house.

The next day, Squidward gets up early so he can see SpongeBob move back with his parents. When SpongeBob's parents arrive, Patrick begins crying hysterically and Squidward starts dancing and singing with joy. SpongeBob finds a small seed (the only thing left when the nematodes destroyed his house) and buries it where his house used to be. One of his tears falls on the seed, which creates a massive vine that shoots out of the ground. A new house sprouts from the vine and crushes Squidward, who was dancing on the remains of SpongeBob's house with joy. SpongeBob, Patrick, and his parents rush inside joyfully, and SpongeBob tells Squidward that his house is back forever, much to his dismay.
