Incidental 9[2] is a fish that makes many cameo appearances.

He is a light orange fish with light blue stripes and light blue lips and a light blue fin. He has light yellow eyes with black pupils.

When Mrs. Puff calls out names in "Hall Monitor", her list contains the names "Bart", "Ralph", and "Buddy". She also calls out the names "Phil", "Henry", and "Clayton". The people that responded weren't shown on-screen so it is possible that this fish goes by one of these names as he was a student in the class at the time.

He first appears in "Ripped Pants," where he was seen at the beach. His name was revealed in the episode "Hall Monitor," when his name was on Mrs. Puff's student list. He, Fred, and Clayton were acting difficult and rushing Squidward about patties in "Hooky." He sat along with Nathiel listening to Sandy to find SpongeBob in the episode "Prehibernation Week." He appeared making a cameo in line in between John, Tina, and other Bikini Bottomites in the episode "The Krusty Sponge." He was in a cameo taking snapshot photos in "The Two Faces of Squidward." He was also a party guest, like in SpongeBob's house in "Party Pooper Pants" and "SpongeBob Meets the Strangler," Squidward's house from "Tentacle-Vision," and Patrick's house from "Breath of Fresh Squidward." He was the member of the audience in "The Fry Cook Games," "SquidBob TentaclePants," "Dunces and Dragons," and "Krusty Krushers." He ran shocked in the downtown road in "Wormy" thinking a butterfly is a monster, in between Shelia, Lloyd, Nathiel, and others. He appeared as green in "Pickles," "No Free Rides," and The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. He briefly appears to be in Pearl's beach party in "The Slumber Party." He was in Glove World! in "Roller Cowards," "Stuck in the Wringer," and "Tunnel of Glove." He was also seen as an arcade customer/visitor in "The Cent of Money" and "Karate Star." He is seen rowing away in a lifeboat in "Walking the Plankton."
