- This VHS tape was released in the USA and Canada about five weeks prior to October, despite being Halloween-themed.
- The trailer for this VHS tape also promoted the Rugrats: Halloween DVD/VHS tape.
- The cover of this VHS tape is based on the episode "Scaredy Pants."
- The back cover of this VHS tape contains pictures from the episodes "Scaredy Pants" and "Squidward the Unfriendly Ghost."
- The screenshots used on the back of this VHS tape are promo art images and not actual episode images.
- This VHS tape includes previews for various shows and other Nickelodeon DVDs and VHS tapes. - The label on the VHS tape has the words "Bob" and "Pants" in the name SpongeBob SquarePants not capitalized. This is also the case with Bikini Bottom Bash!, Deep Sea Sillies, and the demo VHS tapes of Nautical Nonsense and Sea Stories.
