The HR thug[1] is a muscular character who first appears in the episode "Selling Out."

Description[]

He is a large muscular dark teal-green fish, with neon green stripes on his arms, he also has a brownish-tan 5 o’clock shadow. He wears a dark greenish-yellow shirt, brown pants, a black belt with a gold buckle, and black boots. He also appears to have shaved and has a little amount of hair on his head.

The HR thug has made only four appearances in the series so far. He was at first used as a one time character for "Selling Out" as the HR of the Krabby O'Monday's. He later reappears in "Larry the Floor Manager" as one of Larry the Lobster's muscular employees at the Healthy Krab. He appears to currently be portrayed as a basic muscular fish character that can usually be seen with other muscular characters. He has yet to have his own speaking role.

"Selling Out"[]

Carl threatens Squidward that if he does not smile or behave kindly while tending to customers, he is going to speak with human resources, to which the HR thug comes out pounding his fist. This scares Squidward, so he agrees to smile, and the HR thug then leaves. He later appears in the scene when what the Synthetic Krabby Patty goo leaks and everyone gets flushed out.

"Larry the Floor Manager"[]

He is seen when he replaces the signage outside the Krusty Krab. He is later seen when SpongeBob and the customers confronts Larry and his bodybuilding customers.

"Krusty Koncessionaires"[]

He is seen in the Claire St. Claire and the Low Tides concert audience eating a Krabby Patty.

"Say Awww!"[]

He appears as one of the people in the pile trying to escape Q.T.-π.

"Salty Sponge"[]

He appears at The Salty Spitoon and gets into a fight with the hammerhead juvenile delinquent until the slightly crazed moray eel grabs the two of them, and slams them onto the ground.
