The HAZMAT Unit is a part of the Bikini Bottom Department of Health.
Description
The HAZMAT Unit members wear white suits with a light green tinted visor and tall white boots. They have red tanks on their backs. In "Pineapple Invasion," they have visible eyes, while their eyes are not visible in their first two appearances.
History
The HAZMAT Unit first appears in "Best Frenemies," to remove the toxic material that was sold in the Kelpshake restaurants.
A HAZMAT Unit member reappears in "Fungus Among Us," in which he stabilizes SpongeBob when he gets a case of the ick.
The HAZMAT Unit appears again in "Pineapple Invasion." They help get rid of the horrible stench that Mr. Stinky unleashes at the Krusty Krab.
Lasty, the HAZMAT Unit appears in "Jolly Lodgers" when Squidward calls them in order for them to send exterminators to condemn the hotel so he could get out of the situation with the jellyfishers convention, even though there was no danger actually happening.
Trivia
- Their suits looks similar to that of the Health Inspector from the episode "Greasy Buffoons."
