The HAZMAT Unit is a part of the Bikini Bottom Department of Health. They first appear in the episode "Best Frenemies."
Description[]
The HAZMAT Unit members wear white suits with a light green tinted visor and tall white boots. They have red tanks on their backs. In "Best Frenemies," "Pineapple Invasion," and "Jolly Lodgers," they have visible eyes, while their eyes are not visible in "Fungus Among Us."

He appears to remove the toxic material that was sold in the Kelpshake restaurants.
"Fungus Among Us"[]
A HAZMAT Unit member reappears to stabilize SpongeBob when he gets a case of the ick.
"Pineapple Invasion"[]
They help get rid of the horrible stench that the skunk Mr. Stinky unleashes at the Krusty Krab.
"Jolly Lodgers"[]
They appear when Squidward calls them in order for them to send exterminators to condemn the hotel so he could get out of the situation with the jellyfishing convention, even though there was no danger actually happening.
