"Greenhorn Rag" was composed by Nicolas Carr, Sage Guyton, and Jeremy Wakefield. The main instruments being played in all three versions include the lap steel guitar, the bass guitar, cymbals, the steel guitar, an acoustic guitar, whistles, other percussion instruments, and jingle bells on one version.


Version 1

This version has a more twangy guitar.

  • 233a. "Whale Watching" - SpongeBob comes out of the paper bag.
  • 233b. "Krusty Kleaners" - SpongeBob gets attacked by a photocopier and a paper shredder.
  • 242a. "FarmerBob" - Jellybee appears and Patrick panics.
  • 243a. "The Nitwitting" - Club members doing "civic duty" in Bikini Bottom.
  • 254-255. "SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout" - Squidward accidentally gets in between Bubble Bass' and Mrs. Puff's sections to decorate.

This version has more variety of Hawaiian percussion and string instruments.

  • 201b. "Bulletin Board" - Mr. Krabs tears down the bulletin board. (whistles removed)
  • 203a. "Pineapple Invasion" - Plankton falls into Gary's traps.
  • 233a. "Whale Watching" - Squidward bikes after Pearl and Dylan.
  • 241a. "Squirrel Jelly" - Sandy gives tiny hot dogs to SpongeBob and Patrick. (whistles removed)
  • 258a. "Boss for a Day" - SpongeBob accidentally kicks Krabs out of the Krusty Krab and ends up injured. (whistles removed)
  • 258b. "The Goofy Newbie" - Patrick races the ice cream car outside.
  • 264b. "Patrick's Tantrum" - Patrick's tantrum starts again and kicks Krabs out of the boxing stadium; Patrick gets a big tantrum again after hearing cashier's buttons; Ending.
  • 265b. "Kooky Cooks" - Title card.
