Synopsis

SpongeBob and Patrick are playing "Who Has the Loudest Megaphone?" when Squidward angrily barges in. He yells at them to be quiet, but then hears his name on the television. Squidward has been chosen to participate in Think Tank! a quiz show that is very difficult, according to Patrick. The grand prize is a "mystery box of cardboard products" or a new house anywhere in Bikini Bottom. Squidward imagines having a house away from SpongeBob and Patrick, so he goes and starts studying for the show.

On the day of the show, SpongeBob and Patrick cheer for Squidward. Squidward gets the first question, which is to name three types of whales, wrong. After missing 37 questions, SpongeBob rushes to give Squidward encouragement, but accidentally knocks over the camera in the process, which hits Squidward on the head. The director needs a new contestant, so he picks SpongeBob.

SpongeBob realizes that he has never gotten a question of Think Tank! correct while watching at home. He decides to answer the opposite of whatever he thinks the answer is. Using this method, he gets 16 questions correct in a row. He is lowered into the "think tank" for the final question, when he notices that the tank is soundproof and that's why nobody has ever won the grand prize. He pulls out his megaphone and answers the opposite of a delicious Krabby Patty, which is "mud."

It turns out that SpongeBob's answer is correct. He gets to win the grand prize, and although he wants the cardboard products, he chooses the opposite and signs for the new house while thinking that he is giving out autographs.

While having a party at the Krusty Krab, SpongeBob realizes that he chose a new house. He chooses to have his new house built right on the spot of his old one. His new house is an exact replica of his old pineapple house, except with thinner walls. Sad, Squidward goes home.
