"Goofy Conversation" was composed by Nicolas Carr and Barry Anthony. The main instruments being played in both "Goofy Conversation" and "Goofy Conversation 2" include the harpsichord, pizzicato and the bass clarinet, while the latter features a more pronounced bassoon. A version featuring piano and contrabassoon is heard in "Bucket Sweet Bucket." Two accordion versions of this are "Nautical Hijinx" and "Stinky Shanty."
Despite their names, this track has a different instrumentation, key and melody than "Goofy Conversation Continued."
