The sea is formed by goo, which in real life is called brine. Its water is dark in color with waves. It surrounds many islands, such as:
And also has other places like the Dutchman's Triangle and the Bermuda Triangle.
Role in episode[]
SpongeBob and Plankton get lost in the Goo Sea when SpongeBob wants to deliver an order, and both end up on Monster Island. Finally, after six years of captivity on the island, they get back home on a raft across the Goo Sea.
