Location

The Goo Lagoon lighthouse is a lighthouse in Bikini Bottom that appears in the episode "The Sponge Who Could Fly."

Description[]

The lighthouse is located on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Goo Lagoon, where it signals approaching ships with its light. The tower is striped in red and white, with a bamboo railing at the top, circular windows surrounding a big light bulb, and a gray head with a red part on top. Next to it is a small house with gray walls, two windows, a door, and a brown roof with a chimney.

Role in episode[]

The lighthouse's light suddenly goes out, and Incidental 41 notices that Old Man Jenkins is heading towards the shore with his boat. SpongeBob flies up to the top of the tower to help, where he replaces the old light bulb with a new one. The lighthouse starts working again, and Jenkins is able to turn back in time as he sees the light, to the rejoice of the people.
