The Glove Launch is a new ride that opens in Glove World! in the episode "Say Awww!"
Description[]
The sign shows a darkish-blue outer space galaxy with stars, light blue circles, a planet resembling Mars, and a planet resembling Saturn but with a purple ring and cyan blue sphere. A glove with a light red beam shooting out is shown and the ride's name is painted in aquamarine lettering.
The ride itself consists of Plankton's robot Q.T.-π eating anyone who says "Awww!" in front of it and imprisoning them in its stomach, only to shoot them out through its rear-end and send them flying through fire rings until they land on a roll of toilet paper and fall into a toilet, then to be flushed down.
Role in episode[]
After all of Q.T.-π's victims escape its imprisonment, it reverts to its original cute form and is left sad over seeing everyone have fun at Glove World! while the robot is alone. Feeling sympathetic to the robot, SpongeBob inspires Q.T. to put its evil powers to good by operating as the main function for a ride at Glove World! Thereby, the Glove Launch is opened. The first person to ride is a teenage boy fish, who is swallowed and trapped inside the robot after saying "Awww!," only to be released through its rear-end and sent flying through several fire rings. He then lands onto a roll of toilet paper and falls into a toilet bowl as the ending touch. Marina and two other teenage fish had gone on the ride too as they are shown in the bowl. The teen fish are then flushed down the toilet as they cheer.
The line for the Glove Launch is huge. Plankton himself wants to go on the ride but is denied admission on account of being too short. Plankton protests this by telling the employee that he built the robot, though the employee tells him that rules are rules, and he cannot ride the Glove Launch regardless of circumstance.
