The giant super goo bubble is a purple, sticky, and semi-solid malleable bubble made of super goo. It seems to be very light since Plankton's device is able to push it easily.
Role in episode[]
It is created accidentally when Plankton, using his mechanical clam digger, opens a small crack that is releasing small super goo bubbles. The super goo rises to the surface and creates the super goo bubble. Sandy thinks that super goo is toxic and will destroy everything, so she, SpongeBob, and Patrick run after the bubble. Eventually, they reach the Krusty Krab, where Plankton explains his final plan.
The bubble is used as a threat by Plankton to Mr. Krabs to give Plankton the Krabby Patty secret formula. SpongeBob tries to stop the bubble by using a bottle of Jumbo Bubble Fun - a giant bottle of bubble soap that comes with a giant bubble blower - to create a bubble giant.
The giant is destroyed when Patrick gets in its way and it steps on him, which creates a hole. It flies away, but comes back and lifts the bubble away. However, the giant is slowly destroyed when the bubble goes up into the air. The bubble bounces off the moon and comes back to Bikini Bottom. Mr. Krabs forks over the secret formula, but Plankton goes back on his word and uses the clam digger to pop the super goo bubble anyway, ultimately culminating in heaps of super goo landing all over everyone.
However, the secret formula Mr. Krabs gave Plankton was a decoy with a stick of dynamite in it, which explodes and causes Plankton to crash into the Chum Bucket, and a second bubble giant cleans off all of the Bikini Bottomites.
