The giant kraken is a giant creature that appears in the comic strip Night Sweets.

Description

He resembles Squidward due to having rectangular eyes, being blue, and being in an octopus form. He wears a large red hat and a loose orange shirt.

Role in comic

He first appears while Patrick is demonstrating to SpongeBob how to find his hidden stash of candy, saying fighting the giant kraken is part of the process to find it. Later, Plankton tries to defeat the kraken, but is unable to.

The kraken wonders what is wrong with everyone that night while Plankton is trying to defeat him, as he did not do anything to bother anyone yet SpongeBob, Patrick, and Plankton were trying to defeat him anyways.
