The Free Sample Krabby Patty is a chum patty disguised as a Krabby Patty. It is given out by Plankton in the episode "Free Samples."

Description[]

It is a sloppy chum-based burger that consists of buns and is meant to be disgusting. The ingredients in the chum consist of a band-aid, a bomb fuse, and glass.

Role in episode[]

This "Krabby Patty" is made by Plankton in an attempt to make everyone despise the real Krabby Patties and run the Krusty Krab out of business. When everyone eats the Free Sample Krabby Patty, they get sick and begin to hate Krabby Patties. However, SpongeBob sells the real ones, calls them new, and everyone likes them again, much to Plankton's dismay.

Patrick was the only Bikini Bottomite who did not eat the Free Sample Patty, even though he actually enjoyed Plankton's rotten chum samples and tolerated eating them.
