Frank, also known as Loser 3 and whale, the inc whale, and the tutu whale, is one of the three "Loser" incidentals who first appears in the episode "Ripped Pants."

Description

Evolution of Frank's default design.

He is a very large black colored blue whale with a pale gray underside with a squiggly border. He wears orange swim trunks. His current appearance was originally considered to be his preliminary colors for his old colors, which consists of him wearing dark green swim trunks.

Inc whale/Tutu whale

The Inc whale/Tutu whale.

Appears as a female variant of him. She is colored light blue with a lighter blue underside. She wears green shorts with a pink tutu and her incidental type is currently unknown.

Names

Loser 3 as a businessman.

• In "You Don't Know Sponge," he is a businessman named Frank.

Role in series

Frank makes a few appearances throughout the series as a background character. He has also been portrayed as a businessman in a few of his appearances, as well as appearing as the inc whale a very few times. He makes his most prominent appearance is in his debut "Ripped Pants."

"Ripped Pants"

After SpongeBob rips his pants off and realizes the mistakes he made, he asks himself if he is the bigger loser on the beach. The whale pops up from underneath the sand and reveals that he was buried in the sand and forgotten to prove him wrong out of sympathy. He, along with Loser 1 and Loser 2, sing the "Ripped Pants" song with SpongeBob. The whale plays the drums during the song. At the end, he and the other band members rip their pants just like SpongeBob.

The inc whale appears as a contestant for the Dance a Thon.

"You Don't Know Sponge"

Frank appearing as a businessman alongside another businessman.

When he hears Patrick making whale sounds, he thinks it is his ex-wife, Martha, calling him until his friend assures him it is not.

"Mutiny on the Krusty"

He is one of the things in the severe rip current.

"SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout"

He is one of the many guests seen at SpongeBob's birthday party. He is later seen singing "happy birthday" at the end with SpongeBob's friends and family.

"Abandon Twits"

He appears on the Goo Lagoon beach along together with Loser 2 and Incidental 22, where SpongeBob and Squidward pulling Mr. Krabs's yacht into the sea.

Trivia

• Due to the coloration, he resembles different species of rorquals than blue whale.
• The inc whale, Incidental 11, Don the Whale, Incidental 61, Mr. Doodles, Roger (Cephalopod Lodge), and the cuttlefish are the only known regular incidentals who are not fish.
  • Additionally the inc whale and Don the Whale are the only regular incidentals who are cetaceans.
