Role in game
Foggers are the second type of enemy introduced in the game, and they first appear in the level "I'm Ready... Depression." They attack by approaching SpongeBob or Patrick, before exhaling a cloud of toxic gas. They then hop away to escape the two. If SpongeBob or Patrick are damaged, Foggers will laugh at them. Despite their size, most Foggers can be defeated in one hit, except for the thug and Planktopolis Foggers, who take two hits.
The Goofy Goober Foggers give the player ten manliness points when defeated, the hillbilly, thug, and junkyard Foggers give twenty manliness points, the trench Foggers give 15 Manliness Points, and the Planktopolis Foggers give 40 manliness points.
If the player collects 25 treasure chests, they unlock the "Tiny Foggers" option, which shrinks all Foggers to about half their size when activated. The only thing changed with the Foggers is their size, and they will still have the same hitbox and attack.
Foggers are the only enemies in the game to both have six variants and to have an extra that solely affects them.
