Trivia[]

General[]

Cultural references[]

  • The title of this DVD is a pun on the children's game hide-and-seek as SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward can be seen playing hide-and-seek on the DVD's cover image.

Errors[]

Spongebob-Squarepants-Tide--Seek (1)~2

Patrick's leg is missing.

  • On the front cover, Patrick is missing his left leg. This was fixed only on some of the international covers along with the English VHS tape and VCD covers.

"Squidsville."

  • On the back of this DVD, "Squidville" is misspelled as "Squidsville."
    • This also happens on the Sponge-a-Rama and Tide and Seek VHS tapes along with The Complete 2nd Season and Sponge Crazy DVDs.
  • The main menu shows clips from "Nature Pants," "Something Smells," "Just One Bite," and "Krab Borg," although these four episodes are not on this DVD.
    • However, the latter two episodes had already been released on DVD with Nautical Nonsense and Sponge Buddies and Tales from the Deep respectively, while the former two would not be released on DVD until The Seascape Capers and SpongeBob Goes Prehistoric respectively.
