SpongeBob's Next Big Adventure is a SpongeBob SquarePants online game.
It has been updated from the previous game SpongeBob's Big Adventures. It added three new locations to the map and more gameplay. It was released in 2012.
Gameplay[]
SpongeBob's Next Big Adventure is an open-world game centered around doing quests. By using the mouse and clicking on objects, the player can show SpongeBob where to go, what to do, and talk to different characters.
Quests[]
Feed Gary[]
This is the first quest in the game. SpongeBob must try to leave his house, when he realizes that he hasn't fed Gary. This causes Gary to appear. Gary's snail food is stolen by Plankton, who believes that it is the secret ingredient to the Krabby Patty. SpongeBob must defeat Plankton by throwing jelly beans at him. He can then collect the snail food and feed Gary, who gives him a map and allows him to visit the Krusty Krab.
No gas, no go[]
Inside the Krusty Krab, Mr. Krabs informs SpongeBob that the gas pipes in the kitchen have been disconnected. Going into the kitchen starts a hidden objects game in which the player must find the various pipes in the kitchen. Finding a pipe puts it back in place. Once all the pipes have been found, all of them are put back together and the quest is completed.
Missing equipment[]
Patrick can be found outside the Krusty Krab, and he has lost four of his jellyfishing tools: his jar, net, shirt, and glasses. The net can be found on Conch Street to the far right. The glasses can be obtained by talking to Squidward, doing the cashier job, and then returning to him. The jar is obtained from Mr. Krabs after paying him 10 dollars. The jellyfishing shirt is found outside the Chum Bucket. Once all of the equipment is found and returned to Patrick, the quest is completed.
Jelly Fishing![]
This quest is started by talking to Patrick at Jellyfish Fields. SpongeBob must play the jellyfishing minigame, and the quest is completed.
Frozen Friends[]
This quest can be started by talking to Incidental 73 at the Krusty Krab and unlocking the frozen tundra location. By meeting the fish at the tundra, SpongeBob can set out to save his friends, who have been captured by the abominable snow mollusk. This begins a platforming section in which SpongeBob must find his friends and chisel them out of blocks of ice. At the end, he fights the snow mollusk, and Patrick throws him jelly beans that can be launched at it. Once the snow mollusk is defeated, the quest is completed.
Karen Challenge[]
At the Chum Bucket, Karen promises to tell SpongeBob a secret if he can beat her at three games of Pong. Each game lasts until either player gets seven points.
Sandy's Surprise[]
At the Krusty Krab, SpongeBob meets Sandy, who has a surprise for him at her treedome. SpongeBob has to get his water helmet, which is located at his house; Patrick is stuck in it and needs jellyfish jelly to get out, which is found at Jellyfish Fields. Once Patrick is freed, SpongeBob gets the helmet.
Sandy's Letter[]
After arriving at Sandy's treedome, Sandy tells SpongeBob that his surprise is in the tree because the mailman was chased away by a guard worm. SpongeBob must climb the tree and collect letters in the Tree Climb minigame. Once he loses the mini-game, the letter appears on the ground. SpongeBob must pick it up and give it to Sandy, who reveals that it contains tickets to Glove Universe.

- The Glove Universe area is from the episode "Glove World R.I.P."
- The game is an update and sequel to SpongeBob's Big Adventures. That game is no longer available on Nick.com as this game serves as its replacement.
- The Flying Dutchman's ship can be seen on the title screen despite not being used in the actual game.
- The frozen tundra area is from the episode "Frozen Face-Off."
- Unlike in the series, Plankton is the same height as SpongeBob in this game.
- Sometimes the part where you have to buy a jar from Mr. Krabs is glitched and you are unable to buy the jar.
- The new title screen has the Nickelodeon logo in a different position.
- The new title screen also removes the "s" from the end of the title, now being called SpongeBob's Next Big Adventure.
