List of events
Friday Night Nicktoons was a primetime block that began airing on January 5 , 2001 .[1] Nickelodeon 's animated slate. Premiere episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants 2002 and 2003 at 8:00pm.[9]
Various shows joined the block during its lengthy 3-year run: Rugrats [14] Hey Arnold! [1] The Fairly OddParents [15] Rocket Power [1] Invader Zim [15] The Wild Thornberrys [16] CatDog [14] ChalkZone [17] The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius [17] My Life as a Teenage Robot [18]
On March 12 , 2004 ,[5] Nicktoons was renamed to Prime Time Nicktoons, where the show aired reruns once at 8:30pm and 9:30pm,[12] September 17 .[6]
On September 24 , Prime Time Nicktoons was renamed back to its original name, and gained an extra hour at 7:00pm. Unlike "Prime Time", reruns aired for an hour at 9:00pm.[7] December 17 ,[8]

Squidward , Patrick , and SpongeBob board the Flying Dutchman 's ship .
SpongeBob , Patrick , and Squidward are flung into and stranded in the Kelp Forest , where the former two depend their lives on the Magic Conch shell .
SpongeBob adopts a stray seahorse .
SpongeBob and Squidward work the night shift.
Mr. Krabs falls in love with Mrs. Puff .
Patrick joins SpongeBob 's Boating School , but he gets SpongeBob in trouble.
Mr. Krabs earns his millionth dollar and takes his crew on a fishing trip, but a clam eats the dollar, and he orders his crew to get it back.
SpongeBob forcefully trains Gary to enter a snail race against Squidward's snail after Squidward insults Gary.
Mr. Krabs has a mid-life crisis when he realizes that he is old, so to make him feel young again, he joins SpongeBob and Patrick for a night out on the town.
