Trivia[]
- This special is listed as "Everybody's Talking: The Voices of SpongeBob SquarePants" on the back of The Complete 1st Season DVD and the special features menu.
- According to this special, while Tom Kenny was practicing the voice of SpongeBob, Stephen Hillenburg read several of Squidward's lines since his voice actor, Rodger Bumpass, had not been cast yet.
- According to this special, Stephen Hillenburg stated that he created Sandy as "a strong female character that could be a friend to SpongeBob but not a love interest." This same exact fact is later stated again in an interview that Stephen Hillenburg did in 2014.[1]
- Of all the specials included on The Complete 1st Season DVD, this is the only one to have music in the closing credits.
