The wiki has changed a LOT lately since 2012, when I

first visited this place. It was very peaceful and clean, and it was extremely

active. However, when the wiki decide to change this wiki. Everyone has mixed

reception at the time. AMK and his wiki team would help make it happen, right?

Unfortunately, the wiki failed to do so with lack of

contribuation for SBU, so the SBU idea was later scrapped.

In 2014, The wiki decide to rename the wiki (which I

already mention it above tho). The wiki admins decide to create the

proposals/ideas on discussion pages. One of the issues I have was constant

proposal created every 5 minute per page.I kind of not liking the idea for the wiki

to create these type of proposals such as chat policy reviews, adnins reviews,

add/remove certain SB-related pages etc. I never understand how this wiki even

The following is an ongoing proposal. Please feel free to voice your opinion, but be sure to follow the rules.

How proposals work

  1. Someone brings up a topic for a proposal.
  2. The community discusses that topic.
    3. Voting stage
  3. The proposal is brought to a vote, taking into account any changes discussed by the community.
  4. The community votes.

Introduction

This is Quarterly user rights reviews (formerly known as "administrator reviews," but has since included non-administrators) which occurs every three months to determine whether or not promoted users should remain in their position. This may seem radical, but it is to ensure that only qualified members keep their rights.

Under the "Discussion" heading, we will discuss whether the user is fit for their position(s). When voting, you are encouraged to add a reason why you want someone demoted or why they should keep their rights. If a user has a majority of all participants and participating administrators (more than 50%) supporting the removal of their position (neutrals excluded), they may be subject to demotion. Bureaucrats will determine the final verdict, but the community discussion will be taken very largely into account. This is to avoid "friend" and "grudge" voting.

Please keep this discussion civil and don't be insulting. If you have criticism, make it constructive. If you are one of the users being reviewed, please do not force others to support you. Calmly responding to a user's concern is fine, but aggressive behavior will be taken into account by the bureaucrats when reviewing the results.

  • Comment new Comment - Hello, thanks for the vote. I see your point, I can see how an admin always surrounded by criticism and drama can be potentially problematic. I do want to mention that I don't think much controversy has risen against me from my perspective. The only one I can remember was based off the closure of the SpongeBob Fanon Wiki which was long over. I've resolved tensions with them by a peace treaty and after they realized the full reason of the closure. I'm now all good with most SBFW users and haven't had a problem ever since. That's the main source of controversy during my time here and as admin. I also wanted to mention I think Rocky's concern might be from back then as the last time I interacted with him and all SBFW users at a time was back in early September. Overall, I don't believe any drama has been around me lately.

  • Remove Remove - While this user has shown some growth I do feel like his immaturity off-wiki seems to hold up, and while many may state an argument on how "off-wiki matters do not matter", there have been many off-wiki matters dealt on this wiki, especially with Discord.   • Keep Strong Keep - The definition of an active user is someone who makes more than 100 edits per month or is active in the social parts of ESB, including ESB Chat and ESB Skype. If chat moderators had to edit to be considered active, that would contradict the definition.
