Introduction

This is Administration Reviews, which occurs every three months to determine whether or not promoted users should remain in their position. This may seem radical, but it is to ensure that only qualified members keep their rights.

Under the "Discussion" heading, we will discuss whether the user is fit for their position(s). When voting, you are encouraged to add a reason why you want someone demoted or why they should keep their rights. If a user has a majority of all participants and participating administrators (more than 50%) supporting the removal of their position (neutrals excluded), they may be subject to demotion. Bureaucrats will determine the final verdict, but the community discussion will be taken very largely into account. This is to avoid "friend" and "grudge" voting.

Please keep this discussion civil and don't be insulting. If you have criticism, make it constructive. If you are one of the users being reviewed, please do not force others to support you. Calmly responding to a user's concern is fine, but aggressive behavior will be taken into account by the bureaucrats when reviewing the results.

Voting key:

  • {{Keep}} - if you believe the user should keep their rights.
  • {{Neutral}} - if you are neutral to the user keeping their rights.
  • {{Suspend}} - if you believe the user should be suspended. Be sure to state your proposed length.
  • {{Remove}} - if you believe the user should lose their rights.

Obviously, you may not support yourself.

You've done more than just threaten or "joke." I recently found out when some ESB users and Spongebob456 were investigating the issue. Obviously, this was outside of the wiki but your behavior involved ESB users so should be taken into consideration here. Attacking ESB users with profanity is no joke at all and neither is talking about ESB users in explicit ways. Suprisnly, the ESB users you've explicitly about, privately are supporting your request but they don't know about this yet. Me and a group of other ESB users have all the proof needed and this is truly not the behavior of an ESB administrator who knows better. Also, all the concerns here are quite similar to Nicko's concern in Jon's second assistant request. You're forgetting that different websites/chats have different restrictions. Using off-wiki reasons for a chat that have far less policies than ESB does is basically the equivalent of limiting free rights. TL;DR: Most of your comment is simply you not taking a joke and you being too selfish to not let it slide.   • Remove Remove or demote to assistant and moderator - Philly has been continuously talking horribly about other users behind their backs and has no qualms about freely insulting members of this community. He has even pressured others to voting what he wants and over a quarter of the current administration has been badmouthed in his group. It does not matter if they are jokes to Dan. It only matters if they are jokes to the people being insulted. An insult is an insult, it's how the person takes it that matters, not the original intention. To those who will inevitably protest the fact that it is off ESB, please consider this:
    1. I am allowed to have an opinion about someone based on their character.
    2. If someone spammed another wiki, would you be willing to support their requests? Is there anyone who can say they would have no doubts? Granted, I "cannot compare serious things like vandalism" to this, as many like to say. However, I can, because if you use the generalization that off wiki things do not count I am allowed to say how it would count. I believe that Dan is a good administrator as a whole, but this behavior cannot be allowed to stay. I do have proof and I am willing to share it in private, since I have enough respect to not publicly reveal private messages.   • Suspend Suspend - After consideration, I believe that as most of it is off wiki, Dan still ahs the right to free speech. However, the pressuring into votes is a definite issue, grouped with the fact that every time Dan talks about someone else he is throwing away the opportunity to address the issue. Administrators do have the right to free speech, but they should also know that talking about someone else doesn't help the person change at all.   • Comment new Comment - Well, it does say in the ESB:Chat policy that topics like politics and religion are not supposed to be discussed as they are too mature and cause heated debates, and I thought that included things like backgrounds, race, ethnicity, sexuality, disability, conditions and disorders. I don't know if this applies to the ESB:Policy as well, but I thought it did since my request to delete two religion-based user page templates received support to remove from some users.   • Comment new Comment - If anyone is worried about the drama that has happened recently, then don't worry, I vowed to redeem myself and be more mindful of messages about a week ago. Plus, assistant is an editing role. Also, I wanted the right to help improve ESB in more major aspects, not to look over other users. Yes, that thread I once posted on Squiddleward's wall may have indicated otherwise, but that was a simple mistake made and it wasn't blatantly like "Hahahaha I'm better than you even though you're in a higher position than me." Also, I was just a little stressed out by the drama, but be glad I decided not to retire. And I did not remove the contents of that thread to "look good," I removed it out of regret, due to how smug I looked in it and I wouldn't want to keep something like that on another's wall. Mods have no power when it comes to "ESB:" pages, and most of the comments you're referring to were on those pages. The only thing I think would matter if a mod did something on a proposal, request, nomination etc. is if they said something offensive or explicit, which isn't the case for me. About the first message to Kitty, yes that was uncalled for, but once again it was just a simple mistake I made and anger sort of went to my head. About the last message to Kitty. Okay, the reason I sent that is because I felt that Expert was trying to sabotage me, as evidenced by him saying "Sorry Red, but I want Patriccko to win" in his oppose. I don't mind him opposing my UoTM nomination, as he is entitled to his own opinion, but I feel that was a rather poor reason to oppose, as I am sure there have been other people who wanted other users to win, but still supported other UoTM nominations nonetheless. If Expert is sorry, then I would forgive him, regardless of whether or not I was UoTM, but I just felt that he was being disrespectful to me at that time, so I started to feel insecure. However, looking back upon it, I regret posting that last thread on Kitty's wall, and I probably misinterpreted Expert's vote, as he has openely admitted to considering me as a friend and does not hate me.   • Comment new Comment - I never said I was against the idea of Expert supporting Patriccko's nomination; the main thing I was concerned about regarding his oppose on my nomination is that his reason had nothing to do with me, which I found to be rather biased. He just said "Sorry Red, but I want Patriccko to win," which didn't give any comment on my edits or me as a user in general, which are the main reason why people vote on UoTMs. I don't mind him opposing me or wanting someone else to win over me, but him wanting someone else to win over me was the only reason he oppose and his oppose didn't give any feedback/constructive criticism on my edits or me as a user.
