Open Proposal

The following is an ongoing proposal. Please feel free to voice your opinion, but be sure to follow the rules.

How proposals work
    Concerns stage
  1. Someone brings up a topic for a proposal.
  2. The community discusses that topic.
  3. Voting stage
  4. The proposal is brought to a vote, taking into account any changes discussed by the community.
  5. The community votes.

You can use any of the following prior to your comments to show your opinion.

{{Support}} • {{Neutral}} • {{Oppose}} • {{Change}} • {{Comment}} • {{Reply}} • {{Question}}
Neutral votes do not count in determining the outcome percentage.

Introduction

This is Administration Reviews, which occurs every six months to determine whether or not promoted users should remain in their position. This may seem radical, but it is to ensure that only qualified members keep their rights.

Under the "Discussion" heading, we will discuss whether the user is fit for their position(s). When voting, you are encouraged to add a reason why you want someone demoted or why they should keep their rights. If a user has a majority of all participants and participating administrators (more than 50%) supporting the removal of their position (neutrals excluded), they may be subject to demotion. Bureaucrats will determine the final verdict, but the community discussion will be taken very largely into account. This is to avoid "friend" and "grudge" voting.

Please keep this discussion civil and don't be insulting. If you have criticism, make it constructive. If you are one of the users being reviewed, please do not force others to support you. Calmly responding to a user's concern is fine, but aggressive behavior will be taken into account by the bureaucrats when reviewing the results.

Voting key:

  • {{Keep}} - if you believe the user should keep their rights.
  • {{Neutral}} - if you are neutral to the user keeping their rights.
  • {{Suspend}} - if you believe the user should be suspended. Be sure to state your proposed length.
  • {{Remove}} - if you believe the user should lose their rights.

Obviously, you may not support yourself.

This discussion will end on Wednesday, August 24, 2017 at 1:40 a.m., eastern time.  Nicko756 (MCE) Sign!Dp  05:40, August 10, 2017 (UTC)

  • Comment new Comment - I occasionally may do a bit of edit work, but these days I am not as active on editing side as usual. I might have more time in the future. Qwertyxp2000 II (talk | contribs) 04:13, August 11, 2017 (UTC)

  • Comment new Comment - Can someone please give me proof of when I am rude and overuse the word "troll" I don't really see me doing either of those things.  SpongeBot678 (MCE)  06:40, August 11, 2017 (UTC)
  • You use the word troll to describe any user who made an undesirable edit, which is not what it means, even though that can coincide with a troll. And you are usually rude to users who received a warning or a block, an example being on Jensonk's message wall. - AGenericContributor 16:13, August 11, 2017 (UTC)
  • What did I do on Jensonk's message wall, I don't think I have done anything like that to him?  SpongeBot678 (MCE)  18:28, August 12, 2017 (UTC)
