a. Why do you believe you are qualified to be promoted to this position?
I have been very active on this wiki since September 2017, editing nearly every day since then. I have been a member of the crew since November 2017, when I became a rollback, and I have been an administrator since April 3, 2018 - over a year and a half. I have made over 11,000 main namespace edits and have uploaded over 11,000 files during my time here. I monitor Recent Activity and check the public logs several times a day; I always have a tab with Recent Activity open on my computer, and even when I am away from home, I check Recent Activity occasionally on my phone. I have done my best to help other users and the wiki itself, especially during my tenure as administrator, such as replying to messages on my wall as soon as I am able, archiving proposals and discussions, and keeping pages such as the community javascript updated. I believe that the work I have done and the experience I have gained as an administrator qualifies me to become a bureaucrat.

b. Have you had experience with this position before?
No, I have never been a bureaucrat on an active wiki. I have my own test wiki but that does not count; I hardly do anything with my bureaucrat rights there. Despite this, I think that my lengthy experience as an administrator here is enough to become a bureaucrat, especially since the two positions are not too different.

c. What are your best contributions to Encyclopedia SpongeBobia and why?
I have a long-running project of fixing up episode galleries, in which I have already completely redone many, many galleries, such as Porous Pockets/gallery, Shell Shocked/gallery, and currently Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful/gallery. In the past, this merely consisted of renaming existing files to match the naming scheme, but now I replace all the low-quality files with better quality, while keeping as many of the original images as possible. Episode galleries are my main way of editing in the main namespace nowadays, but I still spend a lot of time checking Recent Activity and fixing edits that do not comply with the Manual of Style and/or the policy.

Besides edits in the main namespace, I like to keep on top of ESB:Ongoing discussions, particularly closing deletion requests. On pretty much every day, I check the page for any new discussions and any discussions that are able to be archived.

d. How do you plan to use your rights if your request is successful?
Besides continuing to use my current admin rights to archive discussions; delete pages; warning users for policy violations; block vandals, socks, or other deserving users; and et cetera, I would use my bureaucrat rights to archive successful assistant and administrator requests, as well as promoting the users themselves. Another way I plan to use these rights if my request is successful is to promote approved bot accounts for this wiki to the bot user group, and to contact Fandom staff so that they can flag the account as a bot if necessary. I also would want to show off my awesome green username! (Just kidding!)

e. Have you been in a situation in which you needed the user rights for this position at that moment but were unable to act?
There's been quite a few times during my time here where I have noticed successful assistant and administrator requests sit for days without being archived, but in each case I have been unable to do anything about it. As a bureaucrat, I would be able to archive such promotion requests and promote the users promptly.

f. Is there anything else you want to add?
I love this wiki and community. I have met so many wonderful people here and have made a lot of friends over the years, and I have greatly enjoyed being able to talk to many other people about my favorite cartoon and our opinions about certain episodes. I also believe that this wiki has helped me mature and to become more responsible. Being an admin is not always easy, but it has been a ton of fun, and it feels great to be able to help this wonderful community in so many ways. I would love to take the final step to bureaucrat and be an even bigger help to Encyclopedia SpongeBobia. Thank you for taking the time to read my request (it's pretty lengthy I know, I love to write), and I look forward to any feedback you might have; there is always room for improvement and I want to be sure that I would be a good bureaucrat for this wiki.  Figmeister (WCE)  08:37, October 30, 2019 (UTC)
