a. Why do you believe you are qualified to be promoted to this position?
I have been a very active contributor on the wiki since I joined in 2017, and have spent nearly two and a half years as an administrator. I regularly monitor the wiki's recent changes, Discussions, and the Discord server to ensure that users are following the wiki's guidelines and policies, even while I am away from home. Since I've been using the wiki for nearly half a decade, I am highly experienced with many of the wiki's most important aspects, such as editing articles, interacting with other users, moderating, and keeping the wiki in good condition. I have dedicated a tremendous amount of my time towards improving the wiki and making users feel welcome, and I will continue to do so regardless of the outcome of this request. With that said, I believe that I have served well enough as an administrator to request for this position.
b. Have you had experience with this position before?
I have never been a bureaucrat on an active wiki, but I have gained a lot of experience with my current rights since I became an administrator in 2019. Considering that there aren't many differences between my current position and the bureaucrat role, I believe that my experience as an administrator qualifies me to request for this position.
c. What are your best contributions to Encyclopedia SpongeBobia and why?
Throughout the past several years, I have spent a substantial amount of time proofreading and fixing various errors on articles, most of which were related to manual of style violations or improper grammar. I regularly update the "Data:" pages when new information becomes available, and create articles for upcoming episodes as soon as they are confirmed to be real. In addition, I monitor the wiki's logs very frequently and revert counterproductive edits/vandalism the moment I become aware of it. I have also put a lot effort into properly formatting poorly done articles, removing false/speculative information, and improving low-quality object/location/character galleries.
d. How do you plan to use your rights if your request is successful?
I will continue to use my current administrator rights to issue warnings and blocks, archive discussions, delete/restore articles, delete spammy/disruptive comments, and lock threads when necessary. If I manage to become a bureaucrat, I will use those rights to archive successful assistant and administrator requests, and promote the users involved in those situations. I will also promote approved bot accounts to the bot user group when necessary. In addition, I will participate in discussions among the bureaucrats and ensure that these discussions move along as quickly and smoothly as possible.
e. Have you been in a situation in which you needed the user rights for this position at that moment but were unable to act?
There have been numerous occasions where I have seen successful assistant and administrator requests, but could not take action since I do not possess the proper tools. I have also seen many users request for bot accounts, but I had to wait for a bureaucrat to promote their accounts to the bot user group, which would sometimes take a while. If this request is successful, I will promptly take action in these situations.
f. Is there anything else you want to add?
I love this wiki and I am beyond grateful for all of the wonderful experiences that I have had here. I have met so many fantastic users on this site, and it feels great interacting with individuals who have the same interests as I do. Although it hasn't always been easy, helping the community is incredibly satisfying and I have enjoyed nearly every moment of it. I also believe that my experiences on this wiki have helped me mature and improve myself as a person, especially during the past couple of years. For those reasons, it would be such an honor to become a bureaucrat on this wiki. Thank you for reading my request, and I look forward to making many more contributions in the future! Extremely Strong Support - You were one of the first users to help me out when I started to become active early last year. I have witnessed a highly substantial amount of contributions from you during that time, and have seen the great work you did beforehand as well. I am completely confident that you would continue to use your rights well. SPONGEBOBSUPERFANINFINITY (M·C·E·A·L·B)

Krusty Krab Training Video levels of support - The work that you have done on this wiki ever since you joined back in 2017 has been remarkable in every way. You were the most active user in both forums and the editing part of the wiki back when I joined in mid-2020, and your role on this wiki has been in many ways irreplaceable. The fact that you physically returned to this wiki and are now editing over 50 times every day just shows your dedication and love to this wiki. I salute you man, and I wish you a good term as bureaucrat. ItzSpongeBob 1999 M·B·C·A·E 16:42, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
Support - If there's one thing to take away from the recent biannual URR, it's that we need another active bureaucrat to help accelerate bureaucratic discussions and to provide another voice in the matter. Anthony is that guy. DanzxvFan8275 (M•C•U•E)

Neutral
Oppose
Very Strong Oppose - Considering that you only stopped being semi-active a little over a month ago, with most of your edits over the year before that having been edits to project namespace pages rather than articles, I am not convinced that you are entirely suited to this position. I doubt that edits of that sort and magnitude over such an extended period of time would have been enough to get you admin rights had you not already had them, meaning that I do not feel as though you have demonstrated sufficient activity over a sufficient period of time recently to be sure that you wouldn't end up reverting to semi-activity as soon as you reach the top of the greasy pole. I am not necessarily talking about remaining as active as you are now for longer, I am simply talking about being classified as an active user for longer, since bureaucrats are generally seen as the pinnacle of this wiki's userbase, especially by newcomers. EDIT: has also been very duplicitous with the administrators themselves, most notably when WoofWoofGam3r was disruptively disputing his block back in March. This is yet more reasoning, as if there were a need. The gamer 987654321 (talk) 14:42, 19 May 2022 (UTC) (edited at 11:14, 20 May 2022 (UTC))
Reply - cope WoofWoofGam3r
Reply - I swear you should be revising for a maths exam tomorrow, not trying to start this. The gamer 987654321 (talk) 16:39, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
Reply - The issue you are bringing here is totally useless, as he has told me multiple times during his inactivity that he will return to do much more work when he has the time and he had reasons why he was considered "semi-active" on this wiki. May I also add to you that Kandy Katie also had the same issue and she got to keep her rights as administrator which was the correct decision. Also there were people who hadn't edited for months and still had bureaucrat rights (such as Nicko756) so I don't see why Anthony can't get the rights here. ItzSpongeBob 1999 M·B·C·A·E 16:42, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
Reply - This all really comes down to a difference in judgement. If you look back at previous user rights review discussions, you will see that I voted for both of the other users you mentioned to be demoted, and quite frankly I do not want to see yet another semi-active bureaucrat hanging on well past his use by date, so to speak. Given that he has already been seen to do exactly that as an administrator, and because that is not the first time a decline in activity of that sort has taken place (see his brief spell not being an administrator in 2020), I consider it probable that the same would occur in the not particularly distant future. The gamer 987654321 (talk) 16:51, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
Reply - Just to clarify, I dealt with a lot of mental/physical health problems and other important personal matters throughout my period of semi-activity. Since all of those issues have been resolved, I do not see any reasons why my activity levels would decline in the near future. Anthony2306 (W•C•L•E) Anthony2306 (talk) 17:20, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
Reply - Trying to guilt trip me is not going to make me change my vote, sorry not sorry. I will also say that I doubt your problems are all truly fully resolved, but it looks like we'll get to see first hand how long it takes for the next bureaucrat to become inactive since there aren't exactly very many users who agree with me here. The gamer 987654321 (talk) 17:29, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
Reply - he wasn't guilt tripping you? He was giving perfectly understandable reasoning. WoofWoofGam3r
Reply - don't worry about me gamer, Maths is my strongest subject and I guarantee you I will get a 9 in it lol, plus I've studied a lot for it earlier. WoofWoofGam3r
Reply - "Has also been very duplicitous with the administrators themselves, most notably when U|WoofWoofGam3r was disruptively disputing his block back in March." He doesn't have to have the same opinion as the other admins; he's entitled to his own opinion, he's allowed to say his genuine opinion on whether he believes a block was valid or not, and it shouldn't be considered "duplicitous". And no, he obviously wasn't trying to guilt trip you. Vibes
Reply - He was being duplicitous - i.e. two-faced - by expressing one opinion about it in the admins channel and then undermining the consensus that he had seemingly followed by stating the opposite to another user. The fact that he was only willing to state his true opinion in one place and not another is precisely what makes that behaviour duplicitous – did you look up the definition of the word before sticking your neck in? The gamer 987654321 (talk) 21:17, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
Reply - No, I didn't. Vibes
Oppose - Your reasons why you should become a bureaucrat did not convince me at all, given that in every review on the status of a rollback, bot account, URR, etc., all this is discussed by bureaucrats. The reason why the recent URR lasted so long is me and Kandy Katie, who were contacted by bureaucrats and discussed with them (us) questions about all our problems (and Kandy Katie was inactive). And the words that you have seen many successful requests for the status of assistant and administrator, but you could not approve them - this is nonsense. Currently, the last successful request was in October 2021, and the administrator's request was in January 2022 and the user who submitted the request was granted rights on the same days when the rights review process ended. I am waiting for angry user comments on my answer under my answer.
