User requesting assistantship: Expert at Terraria Date discussion closed: February 23, 2019 Result of discussion: Unsuccessful.
a. Why do you believe you are qualified to be promoted to this position?
Well, I have been on the wiki for nearly two years now. I also have more than 11,200 edits, in which 2,300 of them are main-namespace edits. Also, I have been a rollback for over a year now. I have also reported lots of problems to admins, mainly Figmeister. Although a lot of those problems were about deleting pages (and assistant doesn't give you those rights), it does show how vigilant I am.
b. Have you had experience with this position before?
Well, no, but I'm a bureaucrat on my wiki.
c. What are your best contributions to Encyclopedia SpongeBobia and why?
Although I can't pick which one, the ones I am most proud of is my major ones, like doing the Squilliam Returns and Krab Borg galleries (which I'm still very proud of). A few other ones are the Shelby Nautica, Ryan fish, Pat the Horse character galleries. Some other ones are times when I revert vandalism. Also, I also keep updating videos on music pages. Along with that, I've also made a music page myself: the In a Minor Mood Jig page.
d. How do you plan to use your rights if your request is successful?
Honestly, I one I would use the most is renaming files. Why? Because I am planning on doing more galleries. The only problem is that a lot of the photos are not named properly, and I don't want to create duplicate files when doing those galleries. That's why I really need these assistant rights. While I could ask an assistant or admin to rename them, I don't want to keep spamming the same message on their message walls. Also, I think it would just be easier if I could just rename the files with the assistant rights.
e. Have you been in a situation in which you needed the user rights for this position at that moment but were unable to act?
Yes. Numerous times. One time, I kept having to revert vandalism, but no assistant was available to protect the page. An example of this is when a user kept renaming this page and its gallery to an inappropriate word. I had to keep reverting it numerous times, until an assistant came in a few minutes later to protect the page. That's an example of a time when I really could've used the assistant rights. Also, I had to ask Figmeister recently to rename this file, when I was redoing the Squilliam Returns gallery. In fact, recently, I could've used these rights, as I had to keep reverting false information on this page. Because I couldn't protect the page, I had to ask admin to do it. There have also been quite a few times when proposals weren't closed/moved at the right time. Also, while redoing the Krab Borg gallery, I ask an admin to rename numerous files here. I couldn't rename them, becuase I wasn't an assistant.
f. Is there anything else you want to add?
Yes. There was one big thing I would like to add: I know we have quite a few assistant and admins at the moment, but let's think about this, does it really matter? I mean, it wouldn't be such a problem if we have a few assistants. I would also like to point out that EmilyHarmonizer02 (one of the current assistants) is inactive at the moment. Also, a few of the admins, mainly Koolkitty108 and Alex.sapre, hardly edit on articles. I overall think that squeezing in one more wouldn't be a problem. I would also like to point out that I would've made this request later, if it weren't for the renaming problem I mentioned above. I would also like to thank many users for being nice and getting me to where I am today. Overall, I think I'm officially ready to become an assistant. Expert at
Support - I still support. You've made plenty of helpful edits and seem genuinley eager to improve the wiki. Plus I think you've matured a lot over the course of your time here. ChickenkrispiesWCE 21:55, February 16, 2019 (UTC)
Support - Helpful, nice, and supportive. - Jensonk
Extremley weak close to support - Good user but didn't you request for assistant not too long ago? Bots22(T•B•C•E) 22:14, Febuary 16, 2019 (UTC)

Oppose - The galleries, as well as image filenames, are a huge issue on this wiki that the crew needs a lot of help with (I don't think any of them are currently redoing galleries, despite how much of an issue it is). Your reasoning about wanting to rename files would be good, but I honestly don't see you redo galleries very much at all. If you hadn't linked to the Squilliam Returns one, I'd never have known you redid an episode gallery. I can think of a few users who are much more focused on the galleries and edit/redo them a lot more than you have. In addition to that, it hasn't really been enough time since your last request and you haven't changed much of your editing/reasons since. Sheldon J. Dankton(Talk!) 21:39, February 16, 2019 (UTC)
Oppose - Requesting five times for one role is a bit excessive, imo, and shows a wanting for the role rather than a needing for it. Your answers were also quite lacking and, due to them, I still fail to see a need for you having these rights. TheKorraFanatic(Message Wall)(Contributions)(Guestbook) 21:10, February 17, 2019 (UTC)
Oppose - Your answers make it sound like you don't really need the rights, although I might be wrong. You said that myself and KoolKitty don't edit on articles, but the job of assistants is not to edit. Any user can make good edits, but an assistant should be also helping with edits on protected pages, moving proposals, protecting and unprotecting pages, etc. The only times that you said you needed the rights, you also said that an admin dealt with it a few minutes later, which doesn't really reflect a need for another assistant.
