User requesting assistantship: Expert at Terraria Date discussion closed: November 11, 2018 Result of discussion: Unsuccessful.
a. Why do you believe you are qualified to be promoted to this position?
I'm very active. I have done a lot to help the wiki as much as I can. I plan to stay active on main-namespace and overall, being an assistant or not (of course). I have been on the wiki for over a year now. I have lots of experience being on the wiki. I have cleaned up numerous articles throughout my time of being on the wiki. Overall, I think I'm finally ready to be an assistant.
b. Have you had experience with this position before?
I know I said this on my previous request; no, but I'm a bureaucrat on my wiki.
c. What are your best contributions to Encyclopedia SpongeBobia and why?
All of them. I have edited so many articles that have helped them. I can't just pick which particular 1.
d. How do you plan to use your rights if your request is successful?
I would use pretty much the new abilities you gain. Examples: protecting pages when needed, still editing on articles (of course), helping the wiki, etc.
e. Have you been in a situation in which you needed the user rights for this position at that moment but were unable to act?
Yes. I have constantly needed these powers; I have add to ask assistants and admins numerous times to add something to a protected article (mainly upcoming episodes).
f. Is there anything else you want to add?
Yes. I know that in the past, like when I was just promoted to a discussion moderator, that I went on wikibreak immediately and numerous times after that, but if I'm promoted to an assistant I promise that I won't do that. I will stay active here. I also know I stated in this blog that I would request in late November, but I decided to request now, instead of then. Along with that, I know I've had a record of warnings, drama, etc; even a notice for repeatingly editing on an article. About that, yeah I'm trying to improve on that 1, by of course, previewing my edit before I publish it. I've been doing more of my edits in 1 since. :) About the warnings and drama, that happened quite a while ago, and I've apologized since. Like I said in my previous request, I will look at all your votes. The votes that are "neutral" or "oppose," I will look at your criticisms and look at what I could improve at. Overall, I think I'm ready to be an assistant.
Support - I think you seem prepared and your mainspace activity has definitely increased recently. ChickenkrispiesWCE 17:54, November 3, 2018 (UTC)
Oppose - Once again, two to three weeks since your last request is not enough time for improvement. Your edits look good, but considering that you only started getting active here 1 - 1 1/2 months ago doesn't make you assistant material until you keep up the activity for another month or two (especially as you've recently gotten that potential edit farming notice). Basically, two full months of good-quality editing would be good. My suggestion would be requesting in late November as you initially planned to do. (Contact • Contrib) 18:28, November 3, 2018 (UTC)
Comment - I understand, though I wasn't edit farming. I know it might've looked like that, but I wasn't. Sometimes, I don't preview well or not at all, then I notice something incorrect, thus I edit it again. I was having trouble editing that day. I know that's not an excuse, but just wanted to point out that I wasn't edit farming. I would never do such. You can keep your vote, but just wanted to point that out. Hope you understand. :) Expert at
Comment - Thank you for responding. I actually should've clarified something. I assumed it wasn't your intentions, all I'm saying is that some of your actions match the definition of edit farming which was what I should've clarified above. Anyway, thanks for improving and all I ask is that you wait a couple of more weeks before trying again. =) (Contact • Contrib) 18:52, November 3, 2018 (UTC)
Oppose - Per Golf, if a user wants to get a right must first prove to be active for a long period of time, you're back in business for a short time, and moreover, it seems like it's only a week or two that you edit the articles. A Wikia Contributor ITALIAN's return(M•C•E)
Oppose - Per Golf. Too early to request again. •кσσℓкιттү<мεssαgεωαℓℓ>(=^◡^=)• 19:03, November 3, 2018 (UTC)
Oppose - Per Golf. Figmeister(W•C•E) 21:04, November 3, 2018 (UTC)
Comment - What was wrong with that? I was joking when I said it "stunk," but I still didn't like it. Trust me, people have said much worse on votes than that. Expert at
Oppose - I supported your last request but I believe this one has come too soon after the last one. Would honestly be best to leave it until the new year to request again. Carry on contributing and you'll be in good shape ready for next year. Thanks! --Spongebob456talk 09:25, November 4, 2018 (UTC)
