Hello, I'm Auron and I would like to help the wiki. I Have been a user here for quite a while and now that drama has settled I would like to request to become an Admin. I feel as an admin I could help the wiki quite a bit more.

I have done a lot of work on the wiki and would like to be able to help add new features and improvements. I have a lot of coding experience and promise I will never abuse my powers. I also would like to be able to edit protected pages like Sponge out of Water.

I also have been asked by quite a few people to make an admin request. I also hope to be able to pick up some of the slack since the number of admins has shrunk so much. I feel I can help keep the wiki safe and stable.

I would also like to help ZeoSpark with renaming the images in the galleries.

Please consider my request!

Neutral - I'm not sure... He makes excellent contributions and is friendly, but he seems to be a strict admin on other wikis. Also, per OnioNS and Tom; although I don't agree with everything they said, they made some good points.

- Yes I will admit I have made mistakes in the past, but I am only human. However, I am willing to learn from them. If I make a mistake and don't notice it perhaps someone should point it out so that I can learn from it.

As for the "drama" in all fairness, other users -not going to point any fingers- played a pretty big roll in it too.

- If this helps at all yes, I admit i have made some mistakes in the past but I am trying hard with the help of others to learn from them. I have agreed to be more patient and like people to help me correct a mistake if I make one. for me a simple "is something bothering you? You seem to be upset." through PM or Skype is enough to pull me away from the situation and allow the person to tell me how I can act differently about the situation. We are only human and humans are not perfect everyone makes mistakes but it is learning from our mistakes that matters. I am also going to be less strict and I am asking others how I can improve. As for power abusing look at my chat ban log [1] I use my powers sparingly. And I now realize that kick is not a tool to use as a warning (as another chat mod had told me). I ask you to look at my good points not my bad points. I also am a trustworthy friend. I am reliable and if you got to know me, you would surly agree! Auron wasn't the one who caused the drama you speak of. It was because another user called Mopar250 misinterpreted something. You should really get to know him a bit better before you make such assumptions.

Extremely Strong Oppose - oh, where do i begin? oh yeah, Auron, if you're reading this, take note of some of the things I note here, and don't TL:DR, please read the whole thing, though, you'll know how I feel if you do though., but let's begin:

1st off, you don't have that good of a history, especially later on, you're the cause of some, if not many cases of drama in chat, but you also seem to do some stuff that I'll note here, here in this list:

begging to me and never leaving me alone if I said no to anything you asked me similar to what seacactus did.
even if users apologize, you bug them about what they did rather than moving on
erasing my edits, not much for the minor ones, but you even erased legit ones (aka GOOD FAITH EDITS)
you said the f word one day in chat
mini-moding before you got your rights back
almost starting drama on some occasions
there were a few days of uncalled attacks
there was some uncalled kicks
sometimes, you are a bit/too harsh to users (sometimes I am too, but I admit when I am harsh and learn from it, you don't, especially if you hate the user, i.e. Klaus before he pulls any kind of shenanigans, and you→ (Auron) assume that "you're right")
usually, I'm afraid to call you out on your mistakes cause of 2 reasons:

the 1st is that sometimes I have a problem similar to CalzoneManiac, where occasionally I sound like i'm insulting or vice versa, when I'm giving criticism, although with me, it's not up to the same extent as Calzone, cause I improved in how I give constructive criticism cause of help from Spongebob456 and JosephHawk, and to do so is to do it calm and firmly, and the other way I learned is reading past threads on Admin's walls, or looking at past threads.
the 2nd reason is that I saw your attacks, I'm afraid of what would happen if I told you this before and you then harassing me about it like Road did on July 23, although, I know you might tell me "I wouldn't do that," but you might, I saw how you are, you even attacked me a few times, I feel here like how Andrew did with giving 120d another chance, you are lucky I didn't block your PM on some of those days.

one important note in bold to anyone on this wiki:

Begging is not a good idea at all, if someone says no, only ask around 2 (or 3 depending on the situation) times, if above enough, it can get irritating, and can count as harassment, look at seacactus for example, he begged for his rights back, and look at what happened next, if you want something, and they say no, don't beg, accept and move on.

So, my summary of Auron here:

Auron is a good user, but needs some serous work around his areas of power when it comes to dealing with users, and to not feed the trolls, here's my way of dealing with trolls is this, if you ever feel that you want to change the way you deal with trolls:

treat them like any other user, but if they pull any of their shenanigans (i.e., Hardink with the "(insert harmful/offensive action here) 120d" propaganda) that would be the time to take action, don't take action cause they're trolls, take action when they break rules.

and if you want any help with improving, ask me, or Spongebob456, or Joseph, or anyone that you feel can help you, 456 helped me with some chat problems, such as knowing when to kick properly with spammers, Joseph also helped me in other areas with chat as well, in other words, I don't feel you're ready Auron, just wait till you get better, then my feelings will change, ok? --Tominator777 (talk) 05:05, September 7, 2014 (UTC)

Just to clear this up and yes this is long but please don't skim it. A lot of that stuff had to do with the now past ESB-SBG drama which for the record I was being rather civilized about until another user (I think he knows who he is) misinterpreted it and edged me and everyone else on. Yes I admit I do make mistakes just like everyone else in the world. And I apologize for any drama I have caused or contributed to. In a way, I see this as a learning experience. I am going to learn from my mistakes. And yes sometimes I don't realize I am making a mistake so if I am making one and not realizing it please do tell me via PM or on Skype. I am more than willing to talk about the situation and how it should be handled.

~~Begging~~ more accurately termed "impatient," I am actually going to make an effort to change this. I agree I have been a bit naggy or impatient in the past but I am going to change that.

Erasing edits, this all happened because of a misunderstanding. 120d, a former admin told me that "reception" counts as "fanon" whether it does or not i'm still unsure. I do know an admin gave me heck for adding reception to a page so if someone could clear this up I would be grateful. (not here though, meet me on Skype)

@Tom In all fairness,-not to be rude or anything- some of your grammar and spelling lets just say needs work. There have been times when the text is almost illegible. When this happened, I had to erase it because it was very unclear what you had been trying to say so I couldn't fix it without erasing it.

As for "kicking abuse," I had been under the impression that kicking was to be used as a warning because another chat mod, SummerSpongefan20 used it in this manner. I now have learned that that is not how it is to be used and will no longer do this. I ask that people also check my block logs linked above. I do not ban very often and when I do, I make sure to ask (an admin) before doing so. the only infinite bans i have done is for a bad username (albino<censored>cheek) and when a bunch of users ganged up on an admin whom requested my help.

As for the apologizing thing -and I think I know the situation he was talking about- this was a situation involving a rather trollish user. The user in question has a very bad reputation across all of wikia. He also has harassed one of ESB's admins in PM and another on message boards. But I have dealt with the situation and have moved on (why the other user refuses to is beyond me).

In summery yes I made mistakes in the past and I sincerely apologize. I realize i'm not perfect for I am only human. However, I will learn from my past mistakes and correct them in the present and future.

Just for clarification, I am almost certain that Auron did say in chat that he was not going to apply for an administrator position. Now, people can always change their minds, so it isn't a big issue if Auron wants to apply now. Joey ^(talk)
