Instructions

This is a page for creating and resolving concerns on the topic: "Yearly Administrator of the Year award."

At the end of the page, there is a "Create New Concern" button, which you can use to voice your concerns or questions about the proposal. You can use the "Refresh This Discussion" button, which allows you to make sure that all changes have been saved.

After 7 days of discussion, the concerns stage will end. All points brought up during that phase will be taken into account and an administrator, assistant, or the proposal's creator can move the discussion to voting, modifying the original proposal with any changes discussed by the community.

You can also add your comments to existing concerns. On the other hand, if you have no concerns, then you just wait for the voting stage.

Have a happy discussion!

Proposal

I am proposing that every year during early December, an Administrator gets an award for working so hard. I just feel like every Administrator gets an award for that hard work they put into this wiki for most of the year. This is kind of like User of the Month but it's administrator of the year. Example: TheKorraFanatic would get an Administrator of the Year 2021 award for working so hard on the wiki. However, in order to get the award, they have to be very active and do the most edits and work really hard on keeping this wiki clear of trolls and vandals. Spongefan14

While I do not necessarily disagree with what you are proposing, I must say that I am unconvinced by whether this is really needed or wanted, and how this would be different in any meaningful way from the current system of user of the month. Speaking of that, it is unclear how strongly this administrator of the year award, if this proposal was to pass, would resemble the user of the month system in terms of the policy, the creation of discussions or when it comes to deciding the winner, just to name a few things, as this proposal goes into no deal on that front. Please add this if you want this proposal to be moved to voting; it is unfair to expect other users to do all the work by trying to make sense of what you decided to propose while leaving too little detail.
