Proposal

I am proposing the following small change to the user rights policy, which would affect user rights reviews, and would therefore also affect the policy displayed on that page. Please note that the format of these policies may change in the near future. New text is in bold, and removed text is struck out:

User Rights Reviews

  • A. Biannual User Rights Reviews
  • 1. Every six (6) months, all bureaucrats, administrators, assistants, and discussion moderators and Discord moderators will be are put through a review process so the community can assess their status to ensure the most qualified people remain in their positions.

Today's Discord moderators are on roughly the same footing as chat moderators were, based on the abilities possessed by the individuals, and chat moderators used to be included in administration reviews. Considering that Discord moderators are voted for in a similar way to how it is done for all other user rights, it only makes sense that they should be subject to the same constant threat of demotion as all the other users with additional rights are.

The voting stage will end on Friday 16th April 2021 at 09:06 UTC. The gamer 987654321 (talk) 09:06, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
