Proposal

Hi everyone,

For a while, I've noticed that users have to manually update cast or crew members' ages when their birthdays come around. I'd like to propose that living people's ages in their infoboxes (for example, "56" on Tom Kenny's page) be replaced with the age template. In the infobox for Tom Kenny, "56" would be replaced with "{{Age|1962|7|13}}" to display his current age in years at any time. This would apply to any article in the People category that lists a living person's age. It would get rid of the need for manual updates and ensure that a person's age on any article is never out of date.

If this proposal passes, the Age template would need to be updated so that the <noinclude> tags and the content inside them is on the same line as the <includeonly> content (the current spacing causes an unnecessary <br> after the age). 30 Katie (wallcontribs) 30 01:39, February 11, 2019 (UTC)
