Proposal

EmilyHReturns is proposing the following:

I think we should remove the Quotes sections on character pages. I see these sections as unnecessary because all they do is clog the page with trivial, irrelevant information, and in the case of main characters, they have way too many memorable quotes to list and it only makes the articles messier.  EmilyHReturns (MCBE)  00:39, January 6, 2020 (UTC)

The voting stage will conclude on January 26, 2020, at 5:53 PM EST.  Anthony2306 (WCLE)  22:53, January 19, 2020 (UTC)

  • Support Support - This helps prevent clutter as especially the main characters have so many memorable quotes that it clogs up the page and becomes unnecessary to keep track of once the limit is exceeded. If you really want to see a certain quote said by that character, go to the episode transcript. Nothing is significant about recording them on their own individual pages.  EmilyHReturns (MCBE)  22:56, January 19, 2020 (UTC)
  • Neutral Neutral - I think the main characters should still have a quote section.  Figmeister (WCE)  23:03, January 19, 2020 (UTC)
    • Comment new Comment - If so, can't we just limit it to a minimum amount of quotes so it doesn't clog the page? We could also move the quotes to their separate subpage (e.g. Patrick Star/quotes).  EmilyHReturns (MCBE)  23:05, January 19, 2020 (UTC)
    • Reply button Reply - We should set a limit on how many quotes are allowed for the main character articles; ten sounds like a good number. I don't think a subpage is necessary. As it is now, I definitely agree there are way too many quotes.  Figmeister (WCE)  23:36, January 19, 2020 (UTC)
  • Neutral Neutral - Per Fig. I think it just needs to be cut down. ChickenkrispiesW C E Triforce  23:41, January 19, 2020 (UTC)
  • Support Support - A lot of people don't even bother to clean up the quotes sections on character pages, despite the constant grammar changes on this wiki. - Jensonk
