Proposal

Hello everyone,

Since the old bot hasn't worked for a while, KockaAdmiralac is able to create a bot if the community is interested.

Here is the message I was sent:

The chat bot I would be running for ESB (if I get the permission to and access to the account the bot should be running on) would be running on the same framework Sactage's bot was running on except that, if you want me to, I can use the modified framework that I used on Undertale Wiki that allows the bot to handle private messages (so running commands would be able in private messages. I can also make some commands PM-only or main chat-only). Available plugins would be mostly the same (unless Sactage specifically built custom plugins for ESB):

- Base commands (!quit, !commands, !plugins, !ignore, !unignore, !source)

- Logging plugins (logging to wiki, logging to disk and logging to MySQL database, though you would most likely want the first one)

- !seen/!tell plugin

And some additional plugins I made for Undertale Wiki:

- Simple antispam plugin documented on http://c.wikia.com/wiki/User:KockaAdmiralac/antispam

- Discord logging plugin (would require me to have access to a Discord webhook the bot can post through and no, it won't work as a two-way relay)

Commands are separated by access levels that I can configure anytime, and the bot will recognize me as the highest access level ("developer"). I can also write a simple plugin that provides text-only commands if needed.

The bot had decent uptime when I was running it on Undertale Wiki, though it used to crash sometimes. I believe I know the reason why it crashed without restarting a few times so I'll try to fix that issue before running it on ESB. If it crashes or encounters any other issue, though, users could always leave me a message on my wall and I'll look into it as soon as possible.
