Instructions
This is a page for creating and resolving concerns on the topic: "Making false reports against the policy."
At the end of the page, there is a "Create New Concern" button, which you can use to voice your concerns or questions about the proposal. You can use the "Refresh This Discussion" button, which allows you to make sure that all changes have been saved.
After 7 days of discussion, the concerns stage will end. All points brought up during that phase will be taken into account and an administrator, assistant, or the proposal's creator can move the discussion to voting, modifying the original proposal with any changes discussed by the community.
You can also add your comments to existing concerns. On the other hand, if you have no concerns, then you just wait for the voting stage.
Have a happy discussion!
Proposal
I propose that false reports become against the wiki policy and become warning worthy. I propose this because false reporting takes time out of administrators dealing with actual issues. BookFandumb (M·B·C·E)
Concerns
Created concern: policy change
Preview • Modify • CommentConsidering the proposal it seems like it'll change the policy, I think you need to draft out what you'll add in the policy if this proposal passes ChipFan111 m·b·c·e 14:38, 29 April 2021 (UTC)
Created concern: Misclicks
Preview • Modify • CommentWhile I understand how annoying it must be for administrators and discussions moderators to have to wade through reported comments and posts that do not violate the policy, you must consider that a fair few users will simply accidentally click "report" when they meant to copy a link to, or delete, their comment or post. Bearing this in mind, I feel as though it should only be a punishable offence for users to persistently falsely report posts, so that well-intentioned users who made a small mistake do not end up being punished, as already happens too often with the minor offence of edit farming. I will also remind you that you have two days to write a policy draft for this proposal before it gets closed. See ESB:Proposals/Removing the "add photo" button on galleries of episode images/voting for an example of the sort of thing you would have to write if you need it.
