*{{Oppose}} No offense, but I am not sure enough readers are going to care about the length of an episode. Where would this time even go? The infobox? This seems like an incomplete idea. It is not even that useful. If you told someone that an episode of SpongeBob was 10 minutes and 40 seconds instead of exactly 11 minutes, I don't think that person would care. I am a huge fan of SpongeBob and I just think this is useless. I certainly don't care if an episode is 10 minutes and 40 seconds versus 11 minutes. It is not like if I found out that it was, I would complain to the creators of the show that they are not using 20 seconds of valuable time. Sorry that this is redundant. My point is that this is absolutely unneeded. It's a good idea, sure, in theory, but I feel like not enough people are going to care and if they do, they can just find out themselves by watching the episode. {{User:120d/SigReal|120d 11:54, August 30, 2016 (UTC)}}

*{{Comment}} You know what 120 you could be right. But let me tell you this, how many people visit this website to see the cultural references? How many people visit this website for the episode number? How many people visit this website just to see all the credits, especially when some are listed on the title. I'm not assuming a lot of people do. So if not a lot of people come here to see the cultural references then why is that even here? Why is the credits here when barely anyone comes here for that? So if you think that the length is the least unneeded try giving the visitors a servey on what they came here for before you go assuming that the episode's length will be the least important thing. Does it tell you the length anywhere in the episode? And what if someone wanted to watch an episode but they want to be late for something? They can just go here, and look up the time and add it to the remainder of their time left before school. If you haven't noticed, the length of an episode is far more important than the cultural references. {{j2001|23:30, August 30, 2016 (UTC)}}

Proposal

When I first visited this wiki, I noticed a lot of info and effort put into the episode infoboxes. The infoboxes have the most important info about the episode, including the air date and producers, but what I didn't notice was there was no episode length. What I mean is it doesn't tell you how long the episodes were, and I think that is one of The most major facts that should be imputed into the episode. For instance, there are a large portion of episodes that are only 11 minutes long, but not all. There are episode that are 10 minutes long or 12 minutes long, there are shorts and specials that are 2 minutes, 4 minutes, 22 minutes, 40 minutes, you get the point. I personally think that new users or visitors should know how long that episode is. And what if somebody wants to know the length of an episode? There is a possible chance that if they can't find it here, they won't be satisfied. This is just my idea to increase the importance of an episode.  Jordan2001 (MCE) Sqidward 02:40, August 18, 2016 (UTC)

  • If you oppose, you must reasonably explain why.

  • Neutral Neutral - I say maybe. There could be arguments over how long an episode really is. Also, would that include credits? 40?cb=20160723141934The Ninja5 Empire (Talk) 06:10, August 27, 2016 (UTC)
  • Comment new Comment - no, the credits and the duration will be seperate. And I highly doubt there will be arguments over how long an episode is when it clearly states it on other sites.  Jordan2001 (MCE) Sqidward 06:22, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

  • Support Support - Would we round this (Would it be like 11 minutes, or 11 minutes 29 seconds?) Either way I support. AustinD-3 (Message Me Here!) Mario123
  • Comment new Comment - No Austin, This will be full length, rounding it doesn;t give you the full (full) time of the episode. It's just like saying we have 200 episodes in the series, when there's really 204.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Jordan2001 (wallcontribs). Remember to sign your posts with ~~~~
