I believe that the protection level of the pages on each season should be downgraded from full protection (administrators and assistants only) to semi-protection (autoconfirmed users only). It is evident that this indefinite, extreme form of protection has harmed the development of these pages, and has led to many of them not being as detailed or comprehensive as they had the potential to be, and had ought to be, on a wiki of this size and level of activity. For example, the pages for season 4, season 5, season 6, season 7, season 8, season 12 and season 13 have not even had a trivia section added to them, despite the fact that there is bound to be interesting trivia galore that has been found by SpongeBob SquarePants fans over the years relating directly to the seasons. Additionally, the pages for seasons 1 - 8 inclusive and season 13 all have no information about their production on them, despite the fact that there surely has to be something about most of them somewhere, but just not here. It should be clear that the seasons pages are in need of some development.

Given the levels of moderation this wiki has both through normal users and those with additional user rights, and the fact that new accounts created to perform one bad-faith action would still not be able to edit the pages, any damage done to the pages should be very short-lived, and the benefits should widely outweigh the potential negatives.
