*{{Support}} Certainly a step in the right direction. Personally I would allow full-on swearing on Discord if it was up to me, but this is definitely better than nothing. The gamer 987654321 09:58, May 8, 2020 (UTC) |

Proposal
Hear me out before you agree to close this proposal. There are literally no users under 13 joining the Discord, as of like January you needed to enter a birthdate to join the site anyway. I am not saying anything about regular swearing, but I think swearing acronyms fall into the "mild" category (like damn and hell) and and nobody will be brainharmed on the Discord, since most people in it have already matured. <insert name here>, is that you? Voting will conclude on May 13, 2020, at 2:58PM EDT. Anthony2306 (W•C•L•E) 18:58, May 6, 2020 (UTC)

- Extremely Strong Support - I think these should be allowed on both the chat and the main wiki as well but obviously this community doesn't want that as shown by a previous proposal. 9/17 (W•C•E) 19:00, May 6, 2020 (UTC)
* Oppose - You don’t know if there are any 13- on the server. Travjt (W•C•E) 19:01, May 6, 2020 (UTC)
- Reply - That shouldn't be a problem, because Discord is for 13+, just like ESB. Mavnol333 (W•C•L•E) E
- Reply - If an underage is smart enough to get an account on discord, they can probably handle measly swear acronyms. 9/17 (W•C•E) 19:20, May 6, 2020 (UTC)
- Reply - That's true! I started handling profanity by age 9! EmilyHReturns (M•C•B•E) 20:17, May 6, 2020 (UTC)
- Reply - The difference is, Travjt, is that you need a Discord account to view the Discord server. You don’t, however, need a Fandom account to view ESB forums or wherever else swearing could potentially take place. You don’t have to be 13 to see ESB’s content, but you have to be 13 to see Discord. DanzxvFan8275 (M•C•U•E) 22:13, May 6, 2020 (UTC)

Neutral - Weak Support - Per Mavnol but Underages could sneak in by lying about their age, there are 13- on ESB SpongeTron D (W•C•E) I love SB-129
- Oppose - Regardless of the age of the users, I think that allowing swears of any kind will only damage the community. Figmeister (W•C•E) 19:04, May 6, 2020 (UTC)
- Support - This wiki and server is for people age 13 or above, so I think it's appropriate to allow those kinds of acronyms, especially when it's on Discord. Dededeletethis (W•C•E) 19:07, May 6, 2020 (UTC)
- Support - There is no reason to not use these kinds of acronyms on Discord. This rule has always been ridiculous IMO. Mavnol333 (W•C•L•E) E
- Extremely Strong Support - Should be the entire wiki but we'll get there eventually. -- 19:16, May 6, 2020 (UTC)
- Extremely Strong Support - Per Cmc SpongeTron D (W•C•E) I love SB-129
- Weak Support - JustYes
- Support - Anyone can see the wiki and also see what everyone is talking about, but they can't see the Discord. Only members of the wiki, who have to be over 13, can access the wiki Discord. Same goes for the wiki chat, so I think swear acronyms should be allowed there too. MagicSponge123 (W•C•L•E) 19:25, May 6, 2020 (UTC)
- Support - Per MagicSponge - GuyBesideYou3
- Support - Jfro8461
- Neutral - there's a lot of underage people but then again, the acronyms are harmless so idk what'll happen. WoofWoofGam3r 19:51, May 6, 2020 (UTC)
- Support - Per everyone else, it's time for ESB to lessen its restrictions in some way. Louis219 (W•C•E) 19:57, May 6, 2020 (UTC)

- INSANE AMOUNT OF SUPPORT - ESB is bruh when it comes to restrictions, and per everyone else Idroppedmypen ★ 21:19, May 6, 2020 (UTC)
- Support - If something as innocuous as acronyms on a Discord server where you need to be at least 13 to see isn’t viable, then I don’t know what is. DanzxvFan8275 (M•C•U•E) 22:08, May 6, 2020 (UTC)

- Incredibly strong oppose -
- So what if there are no users under 13 years old. We are in a cultural society, and curses are an indicator of bad manners.
- I do not understand, if you use curses, will they help you better express your thoughts?
- I am disgusted to look at curses. Is it really so hard to keep from them? I understand that in real life we can not restrain ourselves and curse. But on social networks, we have the ability to filter our words. Why aren't you using this? Egor Vasylets M·C·U·B·E·L·A
