Proposal
I propose that assistants earn the right to delete pages. As far as I know, having 30 deletion requests at a time stresses out admins because they have to also delete the page if the request passes. If assistants could delete pages, we could be faster than that. Now that doesn't mean the admin role means nothing. Assistants still can't block. Therefore, I propose that assistants can delete pages. ֆȶʍ8(𝓜•𝓑•𝓒•𝓔•𝓐)

- Very Strong Oppose - Assistants should have minimal content-related priveledges and social-related priveledges. --Nathan Pirate (talk) 12:16, October 3, 2020 (UTC)Nathan Pirate
Neutral - I like the idea but I don't know if this is an ESB level of possible.Oppose - Since the admins vote oppose, I don't think it is an ESB level of possible, SpongeTron D (W•C•E) I love SB-129
- Neutral - Kylecocjin (W•C•E)
- Extremely Strong Support - We should also allow restoring pages. Also, having this rule, assistants will be useful by dealing with spam pages, when admins are offline.
- Strong Support - If assistants can protect pages then they should be able to delete pages. ItzSpongeBob 1999 M·B·C·E 09:41, October 3, 2020 (UTC)
- Comment - Has anyone checked if this is actually possible, or if Fandom staff would actually do it? I support the principle of it, but I will not give my support in practice until there is confirmation that it could be done. --The gamer 987654321 (talk) 10:36, October 3, 2020 (UTC)

- Oppose - Assistants are basically supposed to be a step down from admin, and this just gives them most of the rights for an admin except for blocking. MagicSponge123 (W•C•L•E) 21:46, October 4, 2020 (UTC)

- Oppose - I like the idea of this but I think it would be better if assistant was just removed entirely and was replaced by content moderator, as that would probably be able to be done pretty easily and most wikis, including big wikis, have the content moderator role and there's no reason for this wiki to not have it (especially with the amount of spam pages the wiki gets...) 9/17 (W•C•E) 22:14, October 4, 2020 (UTC)
- Reply - Having both positions with assistants recieving some social powers would be better. --Nathan Pirate (talk) 21:48, October 5, 2020 (UTC)Nathan Pirate
