I would like to propose the following revisions to the deletion policy:
I'm referring to the part where you striked out this rule: 2. Once the discussion is created, the nominator must explain why they feel the article should be deleted. I am very supportive of explanations posted by the nominator as to why pages should be deleted, and without them the RfD has little context and may confuse voters as to why it was nominated for deletion. Support - I agree with this.Muzzarino 14:28, January 17, 2018 (UTC)
Support - While I support this proposal, I think that it would make more sense and it would be more transparent if the person who created a soon-to-be-deleted article was notified that it was being deleted by the administrator deleting it or someone else, excluding instances of obvious spam pages. Then the creator of the article would be able to ask questions and argue against the article's deletion. ~~ SnowstripeAre message walls an instrument?
Sometimes there are article in which multiple people are editing, so not just the creator. — AMK152 (Wall • Contrib) 15:38, January 17, 2018 (UTC)
