The following are the guidelines for comics.
General
There are different levels of comics:
- Comic series - contains a series of multiple comic books.
- Comic book - an individual comic release containing multiple comics strips.
- Comic strip - the basic comic strip, the individual story.
Additionally, there are:
- Comics - independent releases, such as those found in Nickelodeon Magazines.
Types
Each type of comic article must contain the following.
Comic book series
Contains:
- Infobox (use Template:Comic series)
- Sections
- History
- Reception
- Issues (a list to all issues in the series)
- References (if any)
- External links (if any)
- Categories (automatically generated from infobox)
- Category:Comic series

Comic book
Contains:
- Infobox (use Template:Comic book)
- Sections
- General (general information on the particular issue, if any)
- Comics (either or list with links to individual comics or section headings with descriptions for each comic strip within the book)
- References (if any)
- External links (if any)
- Categories (automatically generated from infobox)
- [[:Category:<series name> series]]
- Category:Comic books
Comic strip
Contains:
- Infobox (use Template:Comic strip)
- Sections
- Characters (list of characters in the comic)
- Synopsis (of the comic strip's story)
- Gallery (comic image(s))
