The Cinema Anglerfish is a minor character that appears in the episode, "Don't Look Now."

Description

The Cinema Anglerfish is a darkish-green anglerfish with light green-striped fins and legs and has yellow eyes but no pupils. He also has very large teeth and wears movie usher clothes. Lastly, he has an angler coming out of his head that is pink and blue.

History

The Cinema Anglerfish is first seen after he lit up the dark movie theater telling SpongeBob and Patrick to take their seats. He is seen again where he tells SpongeBob and Patrick it is one minute to midnight due to them staying late watching the movie Fisherman 4: Attack of the Hook.

Trivia

• The Cinema Anglerfish is one of few anglerfish that appear throughout the series. The others being the Angler fish from the episode "Rock Bottom," and Ma Angler from the episode, "Trenchbillies."
• He is drawn more realistically than most of the other fish on the show.
• It is strange to find an anglerfish like him at the ocean level Bikini Bottom resides. Anglerfish should really live deep in the abyss levels.
  • It is possible that he may live in Rock Bottom, and works at the Bikini Bottom's cinema.
